These 9 leg pain relief exercises do a great job of working your leg muscles.

Starting with heel/toe raises, hip flexion, and long arc quads (LAQ) or knee extensions, seated hip abductions, and seated hip external rotations will help get the blood circulating in your legs.

Once those become easy, you can add a resistive band to make it a little more challenging. Hip flexion and hip abduction rollouts with a band are great for strengthening the legs and hips.

Finally hip external rotation (ER) and hip internal rotation (IR) with a band are more challenging because they work the smaller hip muscles.

Thank you from India. I v got severe leg pain.. I recommended my wife too.. I climbed 15 floor building through stairs for exercise yesterday. And she climbed 6 floors.. we got severe leg pain. This exercise really helps relieving the pain.. Thank you once again.

Thanks Dr Jo, my back pain has been particularly bad but so have my legs. I suspect there's a connection so I'm looking forward to doing these tomorrow and hopefully get some relief. I did a yoga leg routine before bed tonight and it's helped quite a bit. Fingers crossed these exercises will relieve my pain and build strength! I can deal with being disabled and using a walking stick, I'm 45 and used it for 8 years, but when the pain is this bad it really gets me down. My husband gets really frustrated because there's nothing he can do. Thank you so much for these videos, I really value your help and advice xx
