Dude is doing a lot of work for an fl studio user

It's like the fl studio is having fun with his creativity and the pro tools user feels like he's programming something and finds it tough.

This is a meme and all but I'm gonna be that guy to remind everyone that all DAWs are on par with each other. It's usually the user whose holding themselves back, thinking 'this specific DAW is meant for mixing' and 'this specific DAW is meant for producing' or 'that specific DAW is meant for mastering'. At the end of the day, your skills and creativity are more important than your DAW.

As an Ableton user I can confirm we don't exist

Mixing on pro tools can definitely be weird sometimes but recording someone is way better on pro tools

The amount of people who don't know fl studio has added audio tracks just for recording🤦‍♂️ just right click on any track and select audio track.

Sounds like the audio was definitely recorded and mixed by an FL user 👌🏽

ProTools worked better for me when I enjoyed working in a more organic way, plugging my guitar into the amplifier, shaping my tones in analog, and recording with a microphone in front of the speaker... However, I had a retinal detachment, needed to undergo emergency surgery, and the postoperative period involves severe rest for 12 months until the next surgery where the silicone gel implanted in my eye will be removed. I've experienced extreme pain with any movement, including playing guitar, which I had to stop because I feel a lot of pain in the eye from the arm's motion. But since I can't stop making music, I continued composing directly in the DAW, and ProTools proved to be extremely inefficient for someone composing using a mouse and keyboard. I even tried other DAWs similar to ProTools for composing directly in the DAW, like Cubase, StudioOne, Reaper, and in general, none of them proved to be as practical and efficient as FL Studio. I'm taking my first steps in FL Studio, still have a lot to get used to, but it has truly shown to be the best for someone who has lost the ability to play an instrument anymore and needs to compose solely using the computer!

I feel like pro tools actively tries to make their UI as non user friendly as possible.

I literally won’t use Ableton despite trying over 15 years on and off, purely because FL is just so user friendly, at one point it was about the differences in audio quality but then all DAW’s have the ability to be equally as good and powerful sounding as you like it’s how you understand and use it. I am so fluent with FL now and love how far I’ve come

As someone who has used pretty much every DAW out there, FL is 100% on top right now. Especially with the FL 21 update.

I know this is an old post but Pro Tools is by far a more organized and better DAW. You can do some of the same major functions in Pro Tools that you find in FL Studio. And don't get me started with recording vocals in FL Studio; what's with the creation of tracks/playlists when you're trying to punch in.

And exporting in FL Studio is all f'ed up. I got it figured out, but damn Gina!! Can we get a more streamline workflow? And you can make beats in Pro Tools as well. But I think FL Studio is the winner on that front.
