Happened to me 2 nights in a row and I couldn’t do anything about it…I was sleeping but I knew where I was sleeping and what direction I was facing and everything but then at the same time my legs felt heavy and it felt someone was pulling it and while I knew that I was asleep and aware of my actual body there was a part of me that was actual floating around my room like I could see things from that perspective and I actually felt like I controlled my movement while floating and I got awfully close to the ceiling yet in my real body I could still feel all of it and I would try to force myself to wake up because I actually felt awake but I couldn’t willingly open my eyes even when I was forcing it I ended up floating all the way down to the halls in the house and since the lights are always off around there all I could see was darkness but there was definitely a sense of my real body being one place and my conscience being in other but it was linked to point where I could still feel the movements I made with my real body because it got uncomfortable then it just stopped…the second time I started to feel my legs getting heavy again and being in 2 different places at once but it ended early and I still continued sleeping but when I woke up I knew exactly what happened and what I saw…idk but it scared tf out of me because I essentially thought I died and I was in a ghost form or something if you can relate or had this happen to you plz enlighten me

If someone who claims to be a scientist says astral projection is a bunch of bologna they aren’t a real scientist. Can astral projection be proven real at this point, no. But it also can’t be proven false and a lot of people claim to experience it not just some nut jobs. While there maybe a different explanation than the soul leaving the body. Claiming it’s fake is not scientific based at all and is just as bad as someone claiming it’s 100% real.

It's absolutely real and I've experienced it twice while sober and several times while on psychedelics. The entire DMT experience by the way is essentially astral projection into a different dimension. These chemicals need to be legalized and studied by serious scientists immediately as they very obviously hold the keys to understanding the mystery of being and consciousness.

I do this alot, I wake up walk around my house see myself sleep and then I get attacked by a black figure and I had to scream at my self to wake up.
