In my experiments, lasers were able to create blind spots for human drivers, also causing them to run over pedestrians. I don't know why my paper was rejected.

I knew this would happen: we go out and start something, pushing little asteroids around to see if they flinch, and then their family shows up from behind our blind spot, to let us know not to start something we can't finish.

I love the science news format you are producing here. Both informative and entertaining. 💛

I can say as far as quantum effects within the brain I've experienced it personally. There's been quite a few times my tongue has been quantum entangled with what I wanted to say.

The telephone bits are gimmicky and funny. Whoever got that in your content are deserved a raise! I really love this weekly round-up format.

I was thinking of freezing my brain to -271 C° in order to make it work quantically faster and smarter (and possibly cease posting stupid comments) but now I'm happy to learn that some quantic processes in my brain may occur at +37 C°, much relieved by this

Its amazing how now Science news video duration is almos the same length as the normal saturday show. Keep the good work Sabine.

thank you for emphasizing the skepticism that is so necessary to conduct "good" science...it's very easy to get excited about new potential breakthroughs. But often, as we've seen, our senses can mislead us and the truth is counter intuitive

I really enjoy how you distribute your hygroscopic-humoristic content evenly all over your entertaining videos Sabine.

I don't comment on Youtube much at all, but I stopped 2/3rd of the way through to say that I am really enjoying your new videos on global tech news. It's these topics that often get overly hyped and it's impossible to remove the noise from the actual science

Yourself, and @Anton Petrov, are my absolute essential Science & Tech news sources. I would love to see you both collaborate in someway. You both deserve to reach even more people!

I read a book about a decade ago called Physics In Mind by Werner R. Loewenstein. The first 3/4 of the book is actually a very interesting study in how the messenger molecules work in your body. He really goes into detail regarding vision. Vision is probably the most complex sense we have, and it's the most evolved, since light sensory receptors have been common in animals from way back in the Eukaryote timeline. He describes a phenomenal process that the brain goes through, sort of like a Fourier transform, in order to get the vibratory information from the individual hair cells that line the cochlea. It's an amazing book. The last part goes into some research that indicates some kind of quantum tunneling is occurring during cognition. It seemed like the author was throwing that in as an afterthought, but it's stuck with me since.
