We had a big ol' ginger cat back in the 60s. He also hated raw meat, but loved his raw fish, still kicking. He also loved a darn good fight every night before settling on mu mother's lap for a snooze in front of the TV. He was a huge cat and a dog fighter, kept our street dog free, except for resident dogs, who got beaten up occasionally to keep them in line and remind them who was boss of the street,
