Neither the runny yolk or the raw beef appeal to me, but if she loves it, I love that she has it 😁

so some of these comments really blow me, in other countries besides the US its extremely safe to eat raw yolk. seafood, and beef. they have different food standards

The dish she’s eating here is yukhoe, a Korean take on beef tartare.

In Mexico there is a dish called “Carne Apache” it’s raw meat in lemon juice, with peppers. It’s dope

This is not tartare. It’s a Korean dish called yuk kwe. It’s seasoned with soy, sugar and sesame oil, and sometimes a tiny pinch of garlic sliced while frozen and uses only the freshest meat possible. The egg needs to be sourced fresh as well. It’s not only served with Asian pear but slivers of crispy apples and cukes. It’s an acquired taste that Koreans love it. It’s considered an appetizer or side dish to cold buckwheat noodles in vinegary seasoned cold broth or hot rice.

Beef tartare mixed with yolk and onions is actually really good, pretty common where I live

I'm an RN . I took care of these tartare aficionados in NYC . I hated the fact the bed pans cannot be emptied enough. I wonder how they do it in Paris ?

Even though I’m sure this meat is cleaned thoroughly, it’s a hard no for me. It would taste too game for me, and I’d worry too much about other parasites that are still at large in the raw meat.

I love steak tartare. I've never had the Korean version though, only the French one.
