I used to not like steak as a younger man, then I tried it mid rare and fell in love, realized my dad just didn't know how to cook a steak without totally over doing it and vaporizing all of the flavor out of it.

As a kid, I didn't even think I liked steak until I went camping with a friend. His dad's friend cooked me a steak medium rare, and it blew my mind. I finally understood why steak was such a delicacy.

Imma be honest, i always thought people were vegetarian/vegan solely because they don’t support the consumption of animals, but it never occurred to me that some people do it simply because they do not like the taste of meat.
