This medication has saved me from suicides. So it saved my life. It takes time to work, but surely it works wonders for those who really have depression disorder.

Since I've been taking 40 mg, I've no longer had panic attacks. That's the best medicine ever. Paroxetine helped me too, but not as much as fluoxetine. It's a watershed.

The first two days I was on 20mg of prozac, I felt energized in a way I had never felt in my entire life. But by day 3, I began to have intense headaches which got worse over time. I read an article in which one researcher for the drug recommended starting with just 5mg doses as he felt 20mgs was too high for most people. This weel I will try to get compounded dose based only on a 2.5mg microdose and see how I go from there. I really want that superman feeling back as I believed I was capable of accomplishing things I procrastinated on or failed to follow through on.

Yeah whenever I first started and increased my fluoxetine, it would just be the worst two weeks. going from 20 to 40 right now and I feel like I did back before I took anything. It can really suck but I feel really decent when it reaches a stable point. If you are going through depression and struggle through your starting week, remember that even if for some reason it doesn't work for you, you are making progress towards being happier.

Made me tired, unmotivated, lack of creativity. Went from going to the gym or walking a few miles to a couch potato and unmotivated. Couldn’t recognize myself. Finally weaned myself off and back to being more active. Started taking it a year into lockdown and a good friend passing away from Covid

Fluoxetine has defo helped me, I still get a bit of a anxiety now and again but it transformed me into normal, I feel more sociable, I can drink more. This medication is basically a spanner to fix your broken mind, for everyone out there take it if you're depressed or got irritational thoughts, it'll fix your mind, make life worth living if you know what I mean

I've been on this for PMDD for 3 months and I think it's been working. I don't sit and think about sadness/cry as much or have the full body aches/dizzyness I did days before my period. I might double to 40 mg to see how it feels.

It's strange that the risk of suicide is high among young people and not among older people. The risks drop to zero after 25 years if I understood correctly? ;) I have doubts about this, as I am 50 years old and felt suicidal after 3 weeks of treatment with fluoxetine. I had to stop it quickly. I was suffering a lot, counting the hours that passed, waiting to get better. It got scary.

I'm on Fluoxetine, I notice when I take it, that it makes me feel agitated with grumpy moody ways, my bones be sniff and slight headaches, I be in a daze it doesn't work for me, I wing myself off of it, I realized it was just me in illusion. I don't need this medicine. I just need to relax my brain. All medications have side effects some medicines are not meant to be taken.

Been on it for a few months now its having an opposite effect I feel agitated, my heart races/ palpitations, I get overly emotional now and my thoughts are racing. I left a message for my phycatrist hopefully the dose can be lowered and eventually tapered off it

I've been on fluxotine for years. I've been off them for around 4/5 months now. Will the brain be able to function properly without fluxotine? I'm terribly moody. And irritated. Every little thing pisses me off, but I don't want to be on pills. But I'm thinking I might have to be.
