Acts 8:12-19, Acts 10:1-7, Acts 10:43-48, 2 Timothy 1:6 . You are teaching incorrectly on this . Scripture is so clear that it is 2 separate experiences. Yes, it's for every believer and no one said it HAS to be proven by speaking in tongues but usually is followed by speaking in tongues in Scripture. In Acts 10, they believed and then were baptized in the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues and then followed it by water baptism. How can you deny this is a secondary experience after reading Acts 8:12-19?! Look up the writings of the early church Fathers before 300AD they wrote letters discussing this gift as a second baptism. I used to believe what you do until I ignored the faulty teaching I had believed for 12 years as a believer and then read acts again and it's very obvious. And then, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I have been on fire for God ever since. Once you receive it you will never be able to deny it. But I would be careful telling other people that it isn't a second experience. You will be held responsible when you stand before the Lord .
