PRAISE YAH!!!! This video was an answer to prayers that I've prayed desperately for so long!!! I was that person you talked about when you said that intensely desiring an encounter with God can distract you from an encounter with God. I'd be on my knees, BEGGING to feel something wash over me. And then I'd be so disappointed when i didn't feel anything. Bombarded by thoughts that maybe I just wasn't good enough.. Didn't have enough faith.. Was a sinner for too long.. to be blessed enough to receive it. MYYYY This convicted me SO HARD. I truly had NO CLUE that the Holy Spirit was already inside me! Please know that this video was LIFE CHANGING for me. I truly cannot thank you enough for opening my eyes. For giving my heart peace, and my mind stillness. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!! It is 5 a.m
I have been laying in bed for a while, stewing about my alcohol addiction. I am an alcoholic. I have been wanting to quit for a long time. .I just got up and flushed all of the alcohol that I had in my possession down the toilet. I have never asked for prayer on the internet before. I want to get baptized next Sunday. If anyone reads this, please pray that I will not have severe alcohol withdrawals. Our Lord has told me to flush it before but I didn't listen. I finally listened. My name is Gabriel and I am a sinner.
I have Lied.
I have stole.
I have taken the Lord's name in vain.
I have committed adultery.
I have not honored my mother and father as I should have.

I have not listened to what our Lord has told me to do. I have squandered many opportunities that He has given me. I am.
That's what I feel like...just "I am". I don't know who I am anymore. I just feel like "I am". I went from carrying a pocket Bible in the front pocket of my coat, to being a sinner full of addiction and an addict full of sin.
