Baptism of Water, Holy Spirit, and Fire | Matthew 2-3 | Gary Hamrick

In Matthew 3 we are introduced to John the Baptist—the one the Old Testament prophets predicted would come to herald the arrival of the Messiah. In Matthew 3:11, John the Baptist spoke of three types of baptisms: water, Holy Spirit, and fire. In today’s teaching, Pastor Gary tells us that all Believers either should or will experience all three of these baptisms. But what does “baptism” exactly mean? And how is it that we may experience these different baptisms? Pastor Gary answers these questions and more in today’s study from Matthew 3.

Been a Baptist Christian my whole life since I was 6yrs old....I've been unsure of those 6 Spiritual gifts that have been written off by the Conservative Baptists for MANY years....

For about 3 years I was married to Assembly of God man we were very young and while I did not completely accept his teachings I still was his wife and we were Pastor over a church in a suburb before worth...in the early 70's....but has he taught rather than preached such a speak as you do I begin to at least open my mind to give some spirit meaning those last six I was always taught Faith wisdom and knowledge you know we're still available but nonetheless whatever the result was my husband committed adultery and walked away and my point is is I never let go of any of that information that was taught cuz I do read the Bible for myself I don't have to have somebody telling me everything you know I let the spirit work through me and I used to didn't realize I could do that when I was very young but anyway I love the way you put all this and taught all this even though I think it's probably been 2 years ago if I saw the date right right before during the pandemic and I really like what you taught here today this is my second full sermon listening to you was recommended by a friend of mine I am a Christian and I go to church all the time and my brother is my pastor in a suburb of Fort Worth but I always agree with everything he says so I just want you to know I really enjoyed this sermon thank you for putting it up on YouTube it's a blessing for good Christian pastors to put their lessons and especially the teaching ones those are the ones that I like up on YouTube so that you can be shared around the world but so that I can be blessed and I really appreciate that and I know that it takes a lot of work to prepare a sermon... I come from hundreds of years of baptist ministers in my family so and then it you know in and around it my whole life and I thank God for that but that doesn't mean I can't learn from a whole lot of other people so I'm able to discern I really enjoyed the lessons today so thank you for sharing

Very good depiction of the fire, I recently had a discussion with a person who rejects the Baptism
of the Holy Ghost and fire, its been a sad day for me, I can now only pray for this person to come to Jesus. Will you please pray for this person also.

I was baptized as a baby and I got baptized when I turned 18, I gave my life to Christ as a youth, he's been my Lord and Savior ever since, through my ups and downs, he's never left me nor forsaken me, even once! THANK YOU JESUS 😢❤🙏

Why do people insist on saying "Jesus's"? When a word ends in "s" there is no need for an extra "s".
(At least that's what was drilled into us in grade school. )
