How to fix the effective power glitch on the iPhone and help prevent it

Hey guys, recently there has been a text going around that can brick your iMessage app. Heres how you fix it!

Note: You can also use Siri to send the person a text message that sent you the bad one, and you can also use any app that sends a message to someone through iMessage.

Second note: Another good fix if sending messages doesn't word is to go to Settings-General-Date and Time-Turn off automatic- change data to 2 months ahead-Go back to settings-messages- and set the Message History to delete after 30 days. This will make your iDevice delete the messages that were 30 days or older, but since you changed the time it will delete all the messages and unbrick your iMessages app. This works if you don't have internet connection.

or you can turn on 'do not disturb' either for a specific person (i.e. messages>*your contact*>details>do not disturb> on) or turn on do not disturb in general
