when i extracted the folder and the other appeared, there were 4 other folders inside (appendix, EFI, ROM, UCP, WIN folders), so not only the bios file. Which file do i need to use ?

In Driver dowload. When I will select a category, but nothing appears? What is this? error site? I tried to search using SN and SNID, but also not found. I bought my laptop at the official shop.

i got my acer e1-572g Bios on the latest verion but it's getting some errors. Is there a way to rollback the BIOS version to it's previous or original version? I didn't get any good answers through the forums.

Although it mentioned bios update is successful now i have a black screen.

In my pc if i try to get in the bios by pressing f12 then it tells me to press enter to enter the bios, i press it and it opens windows... Another weird thing js that i have to turn off and on the pc a lot for it to actually turn on even if the lights turn on, and when i restart it just shut down and then i need to turn it on and off a lot to make it go on again, imagine having to update windows when he needs to restart a lot... I need help mainly because i've bought an bluetooth adapter for xbox 360 controllers but i need to remove the secure boot to get in test mode to install my modified driver, their just normal xbox 360 drivers but i've changed the id (My pc is an Acer Aspire C24 all in one)

Updating BIOS like this doesn't make change in device manager. But I think update maybe done (shown in system information). For device manager what to do(it's showing old one)? And I don't use Acer care center.

Bios version on my Swift 1 is 1.03. The current version on the home page is 1.14. Can I update the Bios without problems ? Or do I first need to install a lower version and then the current one ? Thanks for an answer !

I have the latest versión on Acer aspire 3 A315-41, would it mess up the SO if I install a previous Bios versión. It seems to have an issue with the camera :(

Hello, my computer has bios version 1.11 installed, can I upgrade directly to the latest version (1.21) or do I have to download all bios versions until I get the latest one?

Ever since Windows 10 21H2 update, I noticed my Acer Swift 3 would have around 30 second black screen after the Acer logo before loading Windows.

Not really the end of the world but one day, I decided maybe updating the BIOS would fix it. Indeed it did. But I had like two BSODs and a System Restore (ergo, more housekeeping on my part) after that. No files were harmed tho.

I have an issue on an Aspire X3950. When I try to update the BIOS, I get an error of Failed to load driver. I downloaded the file from Acer as described in the video. I have even tried to update using the command prompt and still get the same message.

in my case... my battery is on 0% charge there for I am trying to upgrade my bios and it is saying I have to have 25% battery charge... so is it possible to update bios with a flash drive

I use linux. How I update the BIOS in this case? you are not serious that I should buy/install windows to install BIOS?
