⬇️ Ingredients here ⬇️
1/2 Onion
4 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 tbsp Hot pepper flakes/Chilli Flakes
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Gochujang
1 pack Egg tofu
100g Kimchi
1 chicken bullion cube
1 litre Water
150g Chicken breast (cut into cubes)
1 tsp Sugar
Pepper to taste
Garnish with spring onion

Kimchi stew is absolutely my favourite Korean cuisine. I make this almost every weekend for my family and I still can't get bored of it 😋

I made this just awhile ago for dinner since it's raining all day. I used tuna in sunflower oil after adding the tofu in and let it boil for 5 min then added spring onions and omg it was the best kimchi soup I've ever had. ❤

Hi! I tried this a few months ago (I didnt like it the first time I tried it so I wanted to try again but with no meat this time.. not a huge pork belly fan) and I did this one. I didnt add meat because I was honestly too lazy lol, but I dont remember whether or not I used water and a bullion cube or chicken stock. I know its not a huge difference, but would just chicken stock in it be good?❤❤

I am korean and that looks a bit more like a Soondubu-jjigae(soft tofu stew)
Anyway that stew looks so delicious ;)

Kimchi stew doesn't have normally we'd add pork belly (specifically the soup base cut)...

찐 한국레시피에는 고추장, 버터, 순두부는 들어가지 않고 찌개용 단단한 두부가 들어가용

Do you add gochujang in kimchi jjigae? I think it's only gochugaru?

Kimchi stew need kimchi(+kimchi water)/water/pork fat(or tuna, , , sth you want) and some green onion on top that’s it
simple
If kimchi is delicious, putting only kimchi&water is good
