If you love Kimchi, there's no dish more iconic than Kimchi Jjigae. In this episode I'll show you how to make Kimchi Jjiage with pork and tofu using homemade kimchi and homemade tofu. This easy kimchi stew recipe can be made in less than 30 min and requires only a few cheap ingredients.
Kimchi Recipe
Homemade Tofu Recipe From Soybeans

1 Cup Kimchi (Preferably Extra Old)
335 g Pork Cut into Small Cubes (Pork Belly, Loin or Shoulder)
1 Cooking Onion Sliced Thinly
1/2 Cup Sliced Mushrooms (Any Variety)
3 Large Green Onions Chopped Small
1/2 Block Soft Tofu Cut In Half
1 Tbsp Canola Oil
1 Tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 Tsp Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Garlic Minced
1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tsp Fish Sauce (Or Anchovy Sauce)
1 Tbsp Gochugaru
1 1/2 Cups Stock (Chicken, Dahsi, Beef Or Water)
Toasted Sesame Seeds For Garnish

Excellent timing! I have my home-made Kimchi (6 months old) and a wife who complains that we have "too much chicken stock in the freezer", like too much is a thing.I feel this will be getting made very soon. Great vid.

I like the beard. Stew looks great!!! I don't think I can say Kimchi Jigae 3 times fast, but it is something to put on the list of things i would like to try eating!
