This doesn't make much sense to me. If you fall in love with a single mother who has children, marry her and raise the children as if they were your own. Teach them the love and respect every woman deserves and show them how to be a man. Break the cycle. There are too many bastards out there with misconceptions on how to be a man.

This seems to be particularly common with military men and 1st responders. They have a savior complex that extends into their personal life

There’s a man who married a single mom. He was a Christian from a good home, never married, no children and determined to be a great dad and father.

Problem: the real dad had visitation rights and was coming to see his daughters. The mom didn’t want him to see their daughters so she told her new husband her sxually molested the girls.

Now the new husband was young and naive so he just believed her without questioning why the real dad was given visitation rights and was never charged with a crime.

The woman stirred up her new husband’s feelings and let him go buy a gun to protect “his” daughters. When the real dad came to pick up his girls the “new dad” told him to leave and he couldn’t come near “his girls”. The real dad insisted on taking his daughters so the new dad shot and killed him believing he was protecting the girls.

The real dad was now dead, the second husband got a life sentence, and the woman divorced the second husband and soon married man #3 and claimed sxual assault from him. What happened to him I am not sure but I know this that single moms are not to be messed with because they are either mentally unstable, not marriage material, or have too much luggage to dump on someone else.

Ladies, if a man doesnt love children, if he doesnt cherish childhood, he isnt husband material.

Jesus says unless you become like a little child and see the world through their eyes, you cannot inherit the Kingdom of God.

Dont worry about your future or your childrens future, there are good men out there that will love you and your testimony.

Let God do the work. These men commenting clearly have a death wish...and a lonely one at that.

Is anyone good enough for marriage? I can’t believe the amount of talking down from the church to Christians wanting to get married I hear. It seems that this man was good enough and a few high ups in the ministry but very few others ever meet the high standards . Being an older never married Christian I have never known anything but discouraging preaching about singleness.

I dated and later married a divorced mom for this fact: my rationale was that she'd probably be more stable and committed than a truly single, childless woman. The problem? She later began to exhibit the same behaviors as a single, childless woman who's well into her FIFTIES. We're now in the middle of a divorce and who knows what the future holds. Bottom line: fellas don't do it. Nobody is coming to save us men, so don't try to be the knight in shining armor for someone else. Save YOURSELVES.
