Are you struggling with sleep in the middle of the night? Do you find yourself wide awake and unable to fall asleep? In this video, we discuss the prototypical recommendation for those who are struggling with sleep. After about 30 minutes of being awake, it is recommended that you get out of your bed and go to a different room. Doing something like reading a book or listening to a podcast can help you relax and fall asleep faster. Avoid eating as it trains your brain to wake up. The reason for this is because if you start to spend a lot of time awake in your bed, your brain is an incredibly associative device and very quickly it will start to learn that this thing called your bed is this place where I’m always awake. I always put on a sleep story on the calm app. It almost always works. Before I found that I would go sleep on the couch. Changing locations could work very well also

I have a bad back and work remotely from my bed. I have for many years. I sleep fine, in the same bed.

Instinctively I was doing just what you said! I even have a 2 a.m. coffee and eventually fall back to sleep.

Make sense, that is what I do but only in bed as going to another room is a breaker of a night sleep against your goal to go back to sleep again.

I live on my bed pretty much. Eat, play computer, do work, be on my phone. I very very rarely struggle to fall asleep on it either 😅 I sleep like a log and can switch off in 10 minutes straight 😂

When i go to sleep where ever when ever its not gonna take longer then 5 minutes.
I usually chill in my bed for the most bc theres where the big nice tv is😂.

Still no problems waking up.
Going to work next day is the problem😂

Use the Military sleeping method. Lay straight and relax your muscles.
To know they’re relaxed, you can tense them all then relax, that’s how you know.. lay still and fall asleep quick

So you don’t want to eat a whole meal but sometimes just a little snack and some water, my carbonated, bubbly water, and some chips and guacamole or pico de gallo or just some kind of tasty treat. As long as it’s a treat and not a meal I can go back and knock out.
