Just thought I’d let everyone know these are not acne “scars” they’re pigmentation, scars are usually indented and there’s two kinds of pigmentation, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is usually purple/dark brown in color and post inflammatory erythema, which are the light pink/bright red marks. Figuring out which one exactly you have is what’s going to help you tackle those pigmentation spots

Usually when people talk about acne scars they are referring to those craters in your face that are left behind after some severe acne episodes. If you have those then use Panthenol and Allantoin scar gel. It worked for me.

As a professional acne survivor for the past 11 years, I recommend doing laser treatment instead of wasting money on these creams

I had mild post acne scars after treating my acne skin for months. Then I decided to use salicylic acid for scars and turned out to be the worst decision I had ever taken in my life. It totally messed up my skin and left me dealing with acnes all over again 😭😭😭

How do i fix an acne scar which is not dark but just a bump of thin skin?

It's on the tip of my nose. I'm so insecure about this. 😭

Story:
So I had an acne on the tip of my nose. After it was gone, there is no dark spot. But the spot is like a thin bump. Like the skin wasn't flattened after it healed. Idk If I explained it properly, but i hope you understand this.
Now it's been years and it' still there.
What can I do? Please someone give me a solution. 😭🙏

Idk but like I just get irritated whenever someone says that people with acne or acne scars should use salicylic acid, , Like dude I used salicylic acid cleanser and it fucked up my skin dude ….. My acnes got worse and I had never had scars before in my life even though I had acnes and now after using salicylic acid my scars aren’t going away …
Like idk Guys if someone has a similar experience please share
Edit : nvm I realised that I applied it wrongly, should’ve used whenever my skin felt oily and not everyday 🙃

I’ve used so many acne scar gels, toners with salisilyc acid vitamin c etcetera, but. Only hydroquinone 2% vanish them. But sadly can’t use them all the time. Have to take a rest and use them again.

Thanks for this! I mostly experience those light pink to red marks called post inflammatory erythema (P.I.E). Which is the type of scarring on the video, I believe. ✅ Cause I definitely have those leftover on my chin & it’s thankfully flattened in texture, looks like clearer skin but I’m aware up-close that I do have scar-marks.* Just a new topical solution to apply into my skincare regime, thank you for this!
What would brown pores be called too? As a form of scarring like post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or would those be like blackheads? [Update: I searched for anyone else interested haha sebaceous filaments : yes : I’m always interested in correcting these but I understand they’re just natural pores basically]. Feels flattened in texture thankfully, just another up close notice (from very long ago past & recovered skin blemishes). ❤❤❤ *My skin basically cleared up & I see how my skin really is haha. I’d simply pick this solution up for the minimal red marks that were left!

But the question is, it remove scars permanently? Instead of covering them up to diminish
Nothing has worked for me when it comes to creams and ointment

I can’t tell which one is before or after. This one is over $100 in Canada I guess about $85 plus in US prices. I have it. It feels very greasy but people do say it works. It will take months for you to see results tbh so be patient. Months go by way quicker then we realize ❤

First you must know the meaning of acne scars. They are not discoloration they are the holes on the face created by acne and scars can be treated only medically not without any skin care

Hyperpigmentation is actually not a true form of scarring--uneven texture of the skin is considered scarring.

Skip vitamin C, skip Niacinamide
Just do RETINOL for faster skin turnover
