Types of Acne Scars

1️⃣Post-Inflammatory Erythema (Red spots)
2️⃣Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (Dark spots)
3️⃣Atrophic acne scars (icepick, boxcar, or rolling scars)

Treatment really depends on the type of scarring, with atrophic acne scars usually requiring office procedures performed by a dermatologist

Reminder: If you do have acne that causes these deep atrophic scars, it’s important to aggressively treat the acne. Acne is easy to treat, scars are hard to treat!

Being Atrophic sucks, its literally like seeing little craters in your face. In high school when I had alot of these, people made a joke that my face was the battle zone for WW3 and I'd need to equip my razors with tank treads in order to shave. Atrophic fricken sucks.
