Diet and acne 

There are a few dietary restrictions that maybe helpful if you are developing multiple acne lesions.

🥙Things to avoid 

❌Dairy products : stop milk till lesions subside. Avoid butter milk. You can take curd, cheese and butter in moderation. 

❌Food with High glycemic index such as  sugar, chocolates, fruit juices, soft drinks,white bread, fast food, potato

What to take instead of milk:
➡️Almond milk is an option
❌Avoid soy milk as that may exacerbate acne 

Frequently asked questions:
❓How to get calcium if no milk?
➡️You can increase consumption of non milk sources of calcium such as :Spinach, mustard greens, broccoli, lentils, chickpeas, flax seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds,  nuts.

❓I don’t get acne but should I stop taking milk to avoid getting it?
➡️No, you can take milk albeit in moderation. 

❓Even after stopping milk my acne is not getting better. What to do?
➡️Just stopping milk is not the solution. There are many other reasons which have to be addressed 

❓I stay in a hostel. I don’t have access to healthy meals. What to do?
➡️Try to replace unhealthy snacking with peanuts, chana, makhana, and even chopped cucumber and carrots.

So I stopped milk since I was 15 which is roughly 6 years ago since I'm now 21 thinking that my acne will reduce and for the most part it reduced alright. I started having dairy alternatives and slowly became a pain at restaurants due to my new diet. I started eating cheese and ice cream made of coconut milk so there wasn't many options for me when I went out. Now at 21, I'm literally losing my hair and some of my teeth started to losen. So while it's good to cut back on dairy remember that there's other risks too. A week before my 21st birthday I started drinking milk again and I feel alot healthier. I still need to see a dermatologist because my skin has never looked worse but we'll get to that when I have more hair on my head. Thanks for listening to my story folks. Goodnight and God bless!

Guys, please don't leave everything, eat anything you like but in moderation, every food has specialized nutrients that your body will need!! Just stay happy and eat anything you want including clearing diet also!!! Just like everything. Acne is not permanent!!

I cured my face 85% with retinol in two months.... Destroyed everything in just two days of overeating acne triggering foods😆😆😆 now feeling sad from May 11😑😑😑

I can agree with all the things except milk ... Consume it with turmeric you'll have healthy and glowing skin ... Unless you're an lactore intolerant... If you're the replace cow milk with coconut milk or almond milk ... Trust me I've consume milk with turmeric from childhood it never gives me acne .. it gives me glowing skin .. but for 3 years I stopped my skin looks soo dull dark... From 2 months I started consuming that milk with turmeric and 30% my acne marks has gone ... Drink milk with turmeric unless u re an lactose intolerant 😊
