I’m 8 weeks pp from an emergency c section for cord prolapse and I still have one tiny small “circle” that looks black and isn’t healed. My midwife says it’s ok, not infected, not to worry, will just take time. But there must be soemthing I can do to help? I have a tummy overhang as it’s my 5th child (only c section tho) so that area is always folded over. I’m thinking of using sterile gauze over it until it heals over?

I’m 4weeks out and have hard lumps underneath do I need to massage those down even though it’s still sore or do I wait longer ? Please help this is my first c section and I’m so confused what’s normal recovery and what is not ?
