Today we are talking about how to do c-section scar massage: techniques, when to start, how much pressure to use and when to start rolling your scar. C-section scar massage can help prevent lumps and adhesions. Adhesions under the skin may lead to pelvic floor problems and the "c-section shelf" appearance.

It blows my mind of how little OB/GYNs and fam doctors don't talk about aftercare for our scars. It's sad because I had so many problems until I started mobilizing it. The fact that we know so little from the medical community and rely on videos like these is awesome and yet sad.

Thank you so much for sharing 💝

Hi Jessica, thanks for this video, I was blessed with a baby girl on Dec 2nd and I followed your videos since my 4th month of pregnancy and I started exercises after 7weeks of my delivery and I feel so comfortable and getting relief from my pains. O hope this would help me from numbness and pain of my scar.🙂🙏 love from India

I was too tired and focused on comfort and breastfeeding properly to care about "pretty" underwear. Cotton grannies got me through. I had a pretty and comfy robe too. That was important. Better than a hospital gown.

No one told me this I’m 2 months postpartum and I’m worried I have adhesion. Can I break them down this far along ?

People on here saying it could be too late. I disagree. Scar adhesion can still be worked out and the shelf can go away. Mind over matter

I just had an unexpected cesarean section about a week ago, the outside is dry and nicely healing but i am experiencing a hard lump just above the incision from the inside, its not painful...is it normal, perhaps part of healing process?
