I’m a lifelong Texan and we need to slow down this growth rate. In my opinion the state was better when we had 14 million people than it is today with 30 million people. We’re full so stop moving here, Oklahoma needs more people so move there.

As a Texan i enjoy people wanting to move and live here. However, don't change it into the state you fled or state works as is. Work hard, buy a house, start a family, be happy.

This is a sign for the government as a whole, if you treat the middle class well, you will thrive

Actually, the real reason -- the #1 reason for the population boom and industry migration to Texas is because people have come to realize that beef barbeque is, in fact, the best barbeque.

My son is in Austin, and I love visiting him there. I wouldn’t mind living there as well!
“Don’t change Texas” is the biggest sentiment of Texans, and I 100% agree.
Don’t change, Texas! You’re spectacular as is!

Im a Texan and HATE this growth. Its growing too fast. As someone who lives near San Antonio, I can vouch that though there are some benefits to the growth, there are more detriments. With no subway or mass public transportation, traffic congestion is one of the largest issues.

Thank you! I really enjoyed the video about Texas, as a Texas resident most of this is pretty common knowledge, at least among those of us who have an education! I hope to see more info like this! Have a great day!❤

I was not born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could. Raised my kids here and here I plan to stay. We have a blessed life in Texas.

I am a 5th generation Texan, and proudly say so! I welcome those who move here, just don’t try to change us into where you came from. Just because we have a strong accent doesn’t mean we’re ignorant, either.

I was born in Wisconsin. After high school joined the Navy & that's what brought me to Texas in the 70's. I've enjoyed living in Texas!!!

I’ve recently learned that the Dallas finance scene, with its forthcoming stock exchange, is called YA’LL STREET 🤣

I was born and raised in Texas. I love it here. I just hope people realize there is a reason you want to live here. It didn't happen by accident. There is a reason we have the biggest budget surplus even though we don't have a state income tax. It's desirable because we believe in small government.

I love Texas, lived there for a year (Austin/Georgetown) As the author Mitchener correctly pointed out "Texas is not a place, but a state of mind"

I left NJ for TX 21 years ago and never looked back. Texas is my home, the birth place of my children. I left NJ for a change, not to change where I went .

Texas is a proud state, we respect hard work and honesty. Our culture is truly diverse and the people are amazing.

If you're considering relocating to Texas, you might want to explore Oklahoma as well. I could be a good alternative, and it's not nearly as crowded as the large Texas cities. We're getting full.

I don't want to see Texas cities end up like cities in smaller states like New York... No back yards, houses smashed together like sardines. Texas is beautiful and spacious, we want to keep it that way.
