As someone who moved from CA to Texas (and lived in Texas for 10 years), I can confirm gas prices are cheaper. Unfortunately, my utilities and car insurance doubled. And I lived in Amarillo, College Station, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston. So if you think lower gas prices will change your life, think again.

Guy at my work said he was on unemployment in new Jersey for 8 months getting 800 a week after taxes. He said he moved to Florida and couldn't believe unemployment only 225 a week before taxes. He said he called the unemployment office and asked "how are you supposed to live on this?" Lady answered "you're not.... Get a job!"

My brother is an animation designer but he’s hired in California but lives Wyoming so he gets paid in Californian wage while living in Wyoming. He’s pretty much a rich guy there
