I take delivery of a used 2017 Supercrew 157 5.0 6spd tomorrow. Couldn't afford new so extremely well maintained used had to do. 80, 000 miles on it, looks like showroom new. I'm praying for a min 150, 000 miles more. I fell in love with the truck the minute I drove it. Anyways, really enjoyed going along for a ride with you and hearing all about your experiences with the truck. Nicely done! 😊

I have a 2015 Lariat Ecoboost 4x4 that I ordered with 120K miles. It’s been ok, but I worry about the turbos. Towed my travel trailer 30K miles. Ordered with max tow package, big folding tow mirrors and 36 gallon tank. Extended warranty more than paid for itself after 5 years when replacing a big tow mirror and bad exhaust manifold. The turbos would get very hot towing up mountains. It’s a city truck now after getting my 2023 F250 diesel recently.

Just bought an ‘19 Lariat. 3.5 EB and man it plain boogies… Every option but the sunroof I have two little boys I liked the safety factor of a normal roof slightly better don’t know if it would make a difference but it gives me a little more confidence in a rollover. Got it @ 69K miles only one issue so far after 3k miles was the IWE vacuum tubing and check valve trying to lock my truck into 4WD at low speeds. Dealer took care of it for me I absolutely love my f150. It’s black and in the rain my goodness she’s a beauty.

I never usually comment on these but I can tell you put a lot of work into this, good job.

I have a ‘16 black XLT version of that body/engine combo. 5.0 is a great engine, I regularly tow a 9000lb trailer with no issues except a failed transmission output shaft speed sensor at 50k miles- fixed under warranty. Great truck!

I’ve got a 2016 XLT 4X4 that I bought brand new with the 2.7 with just over 100, 000 miles. I’ve only changed the plugs in once and have no issues. I plan on keeping because it’s been so dependable.

I have 2017 f150 super crew cab 4x4 has 167, 000 miles running strong has 2.7l Ecoboost had oil pan replaced and pcv valve. Nothing major. Its a good truck very powerful seems like in 4x4 low will pull anything long as you have traction. Pulls my pontoon boat no problem.

2 minute commute would be amazing. I commute 220 mi round trip 5-6 days a week and have for 15 years. What a blessing

Thank you for making this. Im on the hunt for a (somewhat) older truck right now that I can do some light modifications to for soft roading and of course to daily driver. The Toyota Tacoma markups are insane, so I'm looking at older F150's, Nissan Frontiers, and even a Gen 1 Ridgeline. Reviews like these really help a ton!

I have a 2016 xlt extended cab 5.0 with the 6 speed auto trans (6r80). It's been a great truck, no major issues just normal maintenance. I've got 106k on it. Last year it towed my 7x16x4 big Tex dump trailer a lot, sometimes with a good bit of weight it in. It did ok. I have a 2000 f350 with the 7.3l diesel now so my 150 is mostly just a daily driver now. I love the truck

this is a great video. i am looking to get a used F150 2015-2019. i dont want to spend much money because i really plan on hooking it up with tires and subs like my current jeep. after watching this video a 2015 -2016 might be perfect. that looks pretty new to me even after 8 years. this video was very helpful

I have a 2015 Lariat 3.5 Ecoboost 4x4 with 194K We love the space and features. It sits very comfortably. I do worry about the turbos, and direct injection, and the valves getting caked up. So far so good. I did have warranty work done on the cam phasers, chains and O2 sensor. Also my chrome wheels do have some pealing around the edges.

Great video! I'm an Ecoboost guy but I respect your ride and decision!

I have the same truck! 4x4 not fx4 and 3.55 gears. The only issues I've had are the sunroof leaking sometimes and the radio not picking up stations. I'm the second owner and love it.

You haven't put any miles in your truck to see if it's reliable or not

I have a 2015 f150 5.0 platinum with 143k and no mechanical issues besides my water pump that started leaking at 140k, so pretty much no mechanical issues but all the fancy stuff is falling apart lol power running boards, power towing mirrors, driver door hinge is bad as well, just replaced tailgate hinge as well, auto sensing wipers stopped working, im just glad the truck still runs really strong and havent leave me stranded,
