I took slippery elm for about 9 months while I was getting things under control, went for a low lectin diet (to help reduce gut permeability), and then switched from lemon balm to moringa so I could take twice a day doses to help calm down my mast cells. These days I take lemon balm in the morning and moringa at night, and I did wind up adding rose hips for vitamin C. C helps with DAO pathway and the mast cells calming down means they arent releasing histamine every time I eat. I still do the basics like freezing leftovers and cooking from frozen in the instant pot.

THIS IS THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS STATED THE FACT THAT FASTING CAN ACTUALLY CAUSE A HISTAMINE FLARE UP! IF I GO ON WITHOUT EATING FOR A PERIOD OF TIME MY HISTAMINE GOES CRAZY. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FAST?!

Thank you so much for your videos. I found you back in the spring while desperate with a mast cell flare. Now that cromolyn sodium is in shortage and impossible to get in the US, this video is helping me to be sure I’m covering all my bases . I had forgotten about the roles of the B vitamins. Thank you!!!😁

Delighted to have found your channel, Doctor Anderson! Watching for myself and also for my 3 grown, busy children. The daughter has Hashimoto's and fortunately we found an excellent general-type of doctor here in Europe, who also understands supplements & vitamins & all these nuances... We are American expats & are always interested in learning more about safeguarding and improving our health. I will certainly also try your suggestion of the Seeking Health line. Thank you for your expertise, clear, precise and concise presentations!

Wow, this is great information. Looks like I probably have an issues with that 3rd step. I started carnivore diet and feel significantly better after 30 years veg diet, and that makes sense given all the B vitamins were probably depleted as I never supplemented (nobody ever told me to!). Thank you so much.

After months of chronic sinus and ear infections, I kind of stumbled upon Histamine Intolerance, thanks in part to desperation - from traditional medical practitioners basically not knowing what to do with me or my symptoms except to prescribe more medicine and hope for the best. I don't want more antibiotics or nasal steroids. I want to feel better. I want to do it in a natural way, not with prescription drugs (which only acted as a bandaid solution anyway). I have someone close to me who is a N.D. who has been extremely helpful at getting me healthy. And, I am very grateful for your video. I am on a low histamine diet and have been for a couple months now. My symptoms are better, but I still get the intense sinus headaches. I was wondering when the symptoms would actually end and feeling a little frustrated with the histamine diet (although I have lost weight). What the heck is triggering these headaches? Well...Now I'm off to find some B vitamins (first, the B-5) and I'll start with that. And, I'll be rewatching this video and your others on this subject. Thank you!! By the way, a commenter said they wished they could find a doctor like you - if you aren't seeing patients, there are other Naturopathic Doctors out there who are also amazing at what they do!

I have severe endometrosis.
I also have two snips of the MTHFR gene. C677T from my mom and dad.
So my methylation has been non existing. Now I'm taking the bioavailable forms of b9 and b12. And recently started taking b6.

Here is my research with endometrosis is an autoimmune disorder.
It may be due to a yeast overgrowth,
a bacteria overgrowth,
emotional stress,
Histamine intolerance
And insulin resistance

I started taking a dao supplement yesterday and I can't wait to see how this affects my cycle.
