I do at least some kind of squat workout everyday. A lot of days it’s just body weight squats. I just can’t get enough of it

"training" every single day is the best way to get stronger muscles, but there is a limitation, at some point, you literally just don't have enough muscle to strengthen, therefore you have to build more muscles, which requires rest days.

That's why periodization like this will help a lot.

I'm doing squats and deadlifts twice a week. At 66. I'm fine with that. Sometimes, I even take a 30 lb single dumbell and go down a flight of stairs and back up. Maybe 8- 10 times.

Everyone knees caving in cause they squatting everyday 😭😂 bruh!!! Once every 7-10 days if your giving it ur all is all that’s needed . Eating right sleeping resting . Once a week or every other week is way more then enough especially on the squats if we talking about muscle “ growth “

I did squats and cleans 5x a week, every week, all year, for 6 years. The only direct upper body stuff I did were push presses, which still involved a lot of legs.

People don’t know what a high level squat looks like. Almost all high bar low depth squatters flare their knees out on the descent to open their hips up then return to neutral knee position once shooting out of the hole. Returning to neutral knee position (knees over the toes) they get to recruit more explosive power on the way up.



The knees aren’t caving inwards, past the point of where the toes are pointing. It’s the opposite, they’re opening their knees up way past the toes, then going back to regular position.
