I had to take this two separate times with two different professors in one semester of teacher training. Total waste of time. I would have settled for a simple statement that everyone has bias. I brought up the issue of validity and reliability and the teacher just ignored me. I am tired of these agendas in higher learning without other sides of the coin. I just want to learn how to do things.

Simple. Leave my (and or others) heads alone! Let them individually decide for themselves, or if you enforce the opposite - it's tyranny disguised as pseudo compassion.
