“It’s almost like you have to die and be reborn”.

Exactly.

This… he’s exactly describing how it felt for me to look back and reflect upon the memories and mistakes I made as a teenager and it genuinely felt like I was dying, shortness of breath, light headed, cramps, I felt like I was gonna shrivel up and pass out as I looked back on these deeds as an adult… I’m truly disappointed with my past self for doing the things I did and I wish I could’ve acted differently, but I know that I can’t go back… the only thing I can do now that I’m an adult is move forward…

This is true. This is what people don't tell you. It takes much longer to heal from moral trauma.

Everybody wants Heaven, but nobody wants to die for it.

He’s so right. I did it and +20 years later still pain, regrets and consequences. I wish young people could feel this could fathom it. Oh how much more careful we would choose our path.

Wow this really hits home. I’ve made so many moral errors in my life that I wish I could take back. I’m so sorry to those I’ve hurt

That's true. Time doesn't come back for anyone.

Even King David had to face his consequences.

Truth. And the death process almost killed my physical body too. Life choices are no joke. And though you are redeemable, some choices are irreversible and you have to live with that. Learn from other people’s mistakes, or learn from those trying to help you understand truth. Avoid the grief of regret

No matter what you did, how big or how small. You can’t change it. But, just because you can’t change the past doesn’t mean you can’t change the future. You may have so many deep deep regrets. I do, I know things I’ve done were not the best choice. But everyone deserves to redeem themselves, and become a better person from before. Choices are hard, and choosing the right path may seem impossible, but take one step at a time. And you may get there one day. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Been hiking back for 6 years now. I’m tired, alone and full of scars. He’s not kidding. It’s hell looking at yourself…and seeing only you standing there. I know I’m a bad man. But I’m one step closer to becoming a good man. Thanks dr. P

Everything he said is true. I faced all of that in my life. I wish I knew about him earlier.

JP is always comforting. He is like yes, go, you will suffer a lot but it will be okay.
JP is there for us, humanely helping us in all possible ways.
Thank you Lord for JP

I do feel like I have sinned, I have mourned, I have begging for forgiveness, I have prayed... Faced many many many dark days and I finally have changed, have hope and a desire to be a complete different person. One day at a time. I am finally grateful for my pain and lessons and immense loss.

I love him! In a generation that to me, seems so lost. He is a beacon of light to those who are confused and to those who believe but feel they were the only one (me).

I like the fact he just spits truth and doesn’t sugar coat it. Good shrink.

100 % true. One mistake of life taken me 15 years to correct. I was a deceitful mess too, thank God I was saved.
