I was a vegetarian for the first 29 years of my life. I struggled with weight, anxiety, acne, poor sleep, foggy brain and low energy, leading to a highly sedentary lifestyle. After 4 stressful years of grad school and hitting a high of 187 pounds, I decided to try carnivore diet. I first committed myself to one month of carnivore diet, after that month I never stopped because the benefits I experienced were undeniable!

Within the last 4 months I have experienced the following benefits...
-Lost 33 pounds of fat
-Gained muscle
-Skin is clear (began clearing in month 3)
-SIGNIFICANTLY less anxiety
-More stable mood
-Consistently good sleep
-Improved mental clarity and focus (I was struggling to complete my dissertation because of my difficulty with focus. Even reading one article was mentally exhausting!)
-Excess energy which motivated me to work out consistently AND enjoy it!
-Easy access to carnivore options anytime I'm eating out socially or at parties

It's not a fad, it's a lifestyle. It's improved my life significantly :)

My biggest concern about the carnivore diet is that our government is trying to ban meat consumption.

For me, Laura hit it on the head. That’s exactly why I went on carnovore in April 2022. I was done having chronic diarrhea for over 20 years. I was done with arthritic pain. I was done with using my inhaler three and four times a night in my sleep. Within two days I was going normal. My daughter said what’s normal? Because she has the opposite. I said not running to the bathroom and hoping I make it. My arthritis is better and I don’t use my inhaler. Not going back. I found out vegetables were causing me inflammation. Who would’ve thought

What a fun informative video about creating a personalized carnivore lifestyle. I’m a newbie golden girl trying to fight inflammation. The Carnivore way is doable even for a light eater like me. Do I think of other foods? Yes! But I am thrilled I don’t have to stock them in my refrigerator or pantry. My Mason jars are packed away in the garage, giving me more cupboard space. It’s exciting finding new ways to eat fats and meat proteins. Any excuse to consume butter is a good excuse! I butter my burgers, my scrambled eggs and even my coffee. My steaks and pork chops are lathered up with fat drippings like my Grandma and Pappap (a chef) did when I was a child. Can’t wait to reap the health benefits in a few months. So, I want to thank you and all your associates and guest speakers for coaching me while I learn more about being a Carnivore. 🥰

My biggest con hasn’t arrived yet. I gardened vegetables now I’d like to raise farm animals. Only problem is: I wouldn’t be able to eat anything that I named!!! Lol, I get super attached to animals and if they found a life on my farm, they may as well have hit the lottery!!!!

Thanks for this presentation. People often and unknowingly fall for trends. The brain is wired and it simply takes a shift from thinking to being. That's where we thrive. Stop the typical or "expected" thinking and be. Feel what you do rather than do what you feel. My partner and I are going all carnivore starting Sunday, 7, May 2023. If I remember, I'll come back here and update this post.

I was amazed that you live in Turkey. I immediately thought of the earthquakes and wondered if you had been affected. I love your posts and this one was especially helpful as I am a long time ketovore who has never quite made it to carnivore.

Yup, still doing the fatty latte every morning, you're not alone out there!
I use decaf coffee, butter and an egg yolk and blend it all together with hot water - delicious!

The biggest Con for me when I was doing my 30 day carnivore challenge was variety. At about week 2 or 3 I was fat adapted and it got to the point where I didn't even care what I ate or even when I ate or IF I ate. It was very challenging for me and I may not be able to stay on it. HOWEVER I cannot deny that my inflammation went down to basically 0. I can feel it in my hands especially and my fingers had full unhindered range of motion when on carnivore.
I am reasonably sure I will be needing to come back to a form of carnivore diet but it is not like I have completely went back to the way I used to eat. I no longer use seed oils and preferring using butter and beef tallow or lard. I eat less carbs and try and prefer more meat. I did find a couple carnivore recipes that work for me and incorporated them into my normal eat rotation.
In general trying to get away from processed foods as much as I can preferring more whole or rawer foods. I used to have occasional acid reflux but now no longer. I am sure the apple cider vinegar helps.

I was Carnivore for 6 years, and almost died from the effects it had on me, after I had to consume some non-Carnivore foods. I started displaying symptoms after 5 years, which I ignored, as I was still at a great weight, and had bags of energy, with clear skin. These symptoms were heart palpitations, circles under the eyes, and my hair started feeling rough. After my incident, and many private tests alongside seeing docs and consultants, it turns out my gut biome was wiped out, and my body couldn't process any form of carbohydrates whatsoever. My body had become so used to eating meat (muscle and organ) and eggs, it just lost the ability to break down carbs. Metabolic inflexibility. My iron was high, and there were issues around my liver function. During the specific incident, I basically

Thanks to an intensive protocol similar to Candida, and then lots of water kefir for one year, I can now eat non-Carnivore foods, and no longer have food sensitivities I once i.e. peanuts. None of these Carnivore experts listen to those of us who had problems after being on the diet long term. I've seen people on channels like Frank Tufano, Rob Stuart, and even Paul Saladino, where people have had to modify their diet, or ditch it altogether after long term use. People have tried mentioning these problems on Reddit, on these Youtube channels with some of the above experts, and we're removed, deleted, or attacked. Or we're told we didn't do the diet right, to add more electrolytes, or up the fat content. As if we hadn't tried that. Let's see if my comment remains here, or will it follow a similar path to other comments.

So yeah, feeling more energetic than ever, clearer skin, less hunger, all masked the incremental damage taking place inside of me. I still have various tests done twice a year, to make sure things are okay, and thankfully, it is. I literally put the kefir and healing my liver as the reason I can now eat normally (whole foods).

Carnivore is excellent to reset the body if you're sick, and I always think it's worth a go for 3 months - 1 year, but there has to be proper long term studies into the effects after a number of years on it. There's nothing out there, except the word of Carnivore experts, who make their living from it, so hardly an objective point of view.

I'm of the view that if the diet works for you, then continue, but be careful, because things don't always show up straight away if your body is running into problems.

Make every sense! Pay for good foods or medical bills which is more expensive. I do the same for our family and my pets. My Doberman will eat just raw meats too. I used to bake a lot and a lot, even thinking of having my own bakery. Glad, I realize that soon enough how bad sugar and carbs do to our body at a wake up call to my blood pressure spike. I am on Keto right now, and so far I feel great and wonder Carnivore Diet will do me better since I love more meats than vegetables and fruits:) And by the way, Love your home interior!!!
