You know what I like about your videos ???!!! They are not 37 minutes long. They are exact and to the point in 7 minutes or less. That means I’ll watch more ❤

If you replace your morning cup of coffee with green tea, you can eliminate any little joy you have left in your life.

The best part of quitting coffee is getting back on it again. 😊 The love gets deeper and deeper each time.

I've been a life long coffee drinker and when I went carnivore I switched to only have a small amount of heavy cream and it never seemed to affect me. A few months ago I decided to try giving up coffee as I've heard a number of people said it helped them a great deal.

I went about 6 or 7 weeks without coffee and when I got over the caffeine addiction quickly enough I never gave up my desire for coffee. I really missed the ritual of having a cup of coffee. Later I tried replacing that with caffeine tea or caffeine free coffee and it did not do the trick. I never really felt any benefit giving up coffee but after nearly 2 months of no coffee I still wanted it for the ritual. I went back to regular coffee with heavy cream again and I love it. I felt no benefit giving up coffee and felt no negative effects going back to coffee.

The longer I'm carnivore the more I realize that there is a lot of benefit listening to what others experience with their diet changes but most of all you have to test it out to see how things affect you.

Speaking as someone from the Northland who has a 7 day a week year round outdoor job, there is more to coffee than just a beverage. When you are bone chilled, soaking wet, it is snowing and blowing a bastard, and you have 8 more hours to work, no heated building to warm up, no dry clothes, that hot cup of strong black coffee is a lifeline of warmth and hope for me.

I have had IBS (Diahrrea) for nearly 50 years. In February 2022 I started converting to a carnivore diet, and was fully carnivore before the end of March. I immediately stopped taking daily Imodium, and have not used it since. My IBS improved significantly, but I still had bad days every week. So, I decided to slowly wean myself off coffee by cutting down on the amount of caffeine, mixing regular with decaf, and eventually going full decaf (December 9, 2022). I found that even the decaf still bothered my bowels, so after two months on decaf, I stopped drinking it too. Since February 10, 2023 my main hot beverage has been hot water. Occasionally, I will drink hot water with butter. Since Feb 10, my bowels have been very healthy, and almost normal. It has changed my life!

Been pushing meat and eggs for years, and I live carno pretty religiously, but if I give up coffee I will lose my will to live. Tried it once, and I've never done heroin, but I think I'd rather try to come off smack than coffee again. Life has to have SOME joy.

My husband and I are both carnivore. He happily drinks coffee and does well with the diet. I drank coffee until one day, my body said “no thanks”… so I gave it up, it works better for me. Everyone is different 👍👍

We are not coffee drinkers, we are coffee addicts.

I grew up in an old-fashioned family that started putting a little coffee in my milk glass when I was 10 years old. The amount increased over time until I drank coffee with the adults. I was a strong coffee drinker all my life. I quit coffee after Carnivore and never looked back. I feel MUCH BETTER!

I quit coffee 108 days ago after long-time use. I have arthritis in my right hip, and I heard oxalates can negatively affect it. So now I'm 100% carnivore and water. The one thing I noticed is no more diarrhea and my sleeping is phenomenal every single night now. I really love that!

For me, quitting coffee was one of the best decisions I've made. Coffee is pure anxiety in a cup to me....

I quit drinking, i don't smoke, i do carnivore, meat, eggs, fish, cheese, and butter, and i drink strong black coffee. As a long-distance truck driver, coffee is very important to me. It keeps me alert, and the ritual of it makes me happy. I'm never gonna give that up, NÉVER!

I recommend reading the book “caffeine blues”. I gave up coffee 8 month’s ago and have never felt better. My sleep, mental focus, energy level, mood & overall health drastically improved. I will never knowingly consume any caffeine again.

I gave up coffee for 3 months after I started carnivore, never noticed a difference and proved I could do it, didn't miss it, just like the taste, So went back to it and still feel great. Just one cup in the morning.

I just started Carnivore a month and a half ago. Down 26 pounds because of it. I stopped everything cold turkey....stopped drinking the beer I love and I "HAD" to have coffee every morning. I decided to go strict Carnivore and only drink water now. I feel great and LOVE how I am losing the weight I have had for years. I'm 6'2" and was 271, now am down to 244. Am going for 20 more then I should be good weight wise. I did feel like total crap the first 3 days but all cravings and rough feeling is gone. Thanks Dr. Baker for all that you do. I am 52 years old and the best shape I've been in for years

When I started carnivore I was drinking coffee, as soon as I cut it out cold turkey I felt a MASSIVE difference. It turned me to a “not a coffee” person. It was hard to let go mentally, because coffee for me was a “feel good” thing to start my day. I looked forward to having my cup of coffee. It helped me get out a of bed sometimes, haha. So outside of the initial adjustment to that, it’s been absolutely wonderful. Been about 10 months and idk if I’ll go back. I feel so much better mentally, emotionally and physically when I’m not drinking coffee. No more anxiety, no more overthinking, better sleep and saving money! 🙌

I like the approach of the video. Present the pros and cons and have individuals figure out what works for them. Coffee fan here.

I gave up coffee a few years ago for several months and I don’t think I saw any benefits in doing so. Once I got back on it, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Granted, that was long before I was carnivore… But I have no interest in giving it up at this point. I feel like I’d be quite content to drink coffee and follow the carnivore lifestyle for the rest of my life. Thanks for all you do to encourage us in this journey, Dr. Baker!

In my second year of consistent carnivore, I quit coffee, which I had been drinking with MCT oil and butter. Within three months I had lost 20lbs, without changing anything else. Five years out on carnivore, still coffee-free and just fine with a glass of plain water to rehydrate my brain.
