When I replaced my old husqvarna with a new one I thought for sure my handle was loose but it's got the dampener on it so I've grow to love it and it has been my favorite to date

I've had an old Craftsman/Poulan "Pro Series" model for about 10 years. I found it at a vacant job site way back when so I'm not sure how old it was, but it ran great. It's old enough that the model number doesn't help at all when looking for parts. Luckily the only thing it ever needed was a new carb a few years back, and that was my fault. I cracked the plate that holds the diaphragm while putting it back together a few years ago.. Anyway, the shaft finally snapped about a week ago. I really wanted to fix it one last time (lol) but i decided to buy my first Husqvarna. I have a local dealer that I've used for a while and I went with the 329L. It's technically "refurbished" but it sure looks brand new. Came with a 1 year warranty too.... Just under $200 out the door. Can't wait to fire it up.

I been owning the Husqvarna 128ld trimmer going on 15 years now only changed fuel line's twice miner carb adjustment once I use the hell outa it. Maybe I'll get a commercial grade husqvarna whenever the head or piston rings decides to go.

I have run all of these. The 525LST out performs all of them. It is the torque design they have which is unparalleled. They are not only stronger pound for pound, but they are lighter and they start up right away. They are very balanced as well. The echo is very he’s y and not as strong. Still good bit bit as good. The is nice but temperamental. Treat yourself to a 525LST. Finally it’s a true two cycle.

I've worked on many different brands and my favourite still is echo, I picked up a gt 2150 si that was full of water and rusted all I did was clean the parts with petrol and put in 2 second hand bearings and it started straight up

Well I just returned a Stihl 131 that has given me nothing but issues for the past year. Glad they gave me my money back. It was about the 4th time I had issues when I use it once a month.

My John Deere also has the switch that doesn't rebound or just press to shut it off, I always forget it. I love the guard you can adjust the size.

I use a KM 94R, when I work my side job cutting my buddy's farm. I love it too, but after a very long day of cutting it can get rough.

The still is easier for a left handed person because the handle goes straight across and not at an angle

Also for anyone interested in the echo. You HAVE to mix it 50-1. It will last forever, and for convenience and to be safe you can always get the pre mix that’s ready to go. They run (32)% in it but not sure bout the oil. But I’ll tell you one thing. It almost looks like straight gas it’s pure asf and no ethanol. And literally 0 smoke 💨. Like a 4 stroke weed wacker.

Echo and Shindaiwa has been the most reliable for me. I've had more bad experiences with Stihl and Husqvarna. But also more options for Echo/Shindaiwa carbs vs some Stihl carbs. Such as the Stihl FS94. I have a reliable Stihl hedge trimmer with a widely available carb and other replacement parts. Best is what's been working for the individual. Whatever gets the job done with little headache, hickups and support wins for the one using the tool.

Just bought a new echo wacker last night and the trigger is hard too pull too. But I lubed up the pivot point near the motor and used my clutch greaser for my dirtbike on the cable and it’s light as a feather now!

Does the Husqvarna 525lst lose power when turned sideways? Would like to use as an edger also. Thank you.

Love my Husqvarna 535LS, it’s a beast, spoils ya on its power. I don’t worry bout the weight because I get the job done quicker. I love doing fence rows now I get to stretch it’s legs.

Just bought a Husqvarna 129L coming from Troy Bilt TB35 EC dead. So much lighter and the clean power from the Husqvarna is amazing.

Echo hands down. I have 3 srm225's and a brand new srm266 that is a beast. Have 6 or 7 Echo chainsaws, 2 hedge trimmers and 3 backpack blowers and one hand held, and the 770 backpack blower is over 10 years old and fires in 2 pulls and can run all day full throttle.

I'm buying a trimmer this weekend.. and I just don't know where to go. I stopped using one and used an old pushmower everywhere I would trim because my trimmer was a Craftsman 4-stroke (separate oil and gas) from years and years ago. Back when I first heard of them coming out. I wanna say it is like a 42cc or something.. Maybe not. I need to look, but I'm pretty sure it was nearly twice the cc as the usual 2 strokes. Of course, that's just about what it takes to make a 4 stroke match a 2 stroke... twice the cc. It's just been that long since I have used it because I hate it and it's trash. It's weak. It's got that good idea (to me) of a 4 string trimmer head but not nearly enough power to spin it fast enough or to hold speed when cutting anything besides grass that's already mowed lol.

I think I'm gonna go with the 525LST then? Already have a Husqvarna zero-turn that's all fine and dandy. Nothing special, 54" deck, 24 horsepower Kawasaki engine. But, anyways, so far, so good.

I just want a trimmer that knocks whatever weeds down I'm swinging it through. I hold the trigger, it revs and holds it and I just watch the weeds fall... 3 feet tall or not. Is the 525LST powerful enough to not let me down? I'm seeing it is 1.34 horsepower. The entry level models in 2-stroke are 1 horsepower.

I wish I could remember what I had to use in jail. It was a Stihl but I have no idea on the model of it. It was the best thing I've ever used... not that I've used anything over the cheapest, base model trimmers before that. I'm looking for something like that (not that I have any details)... something that cuts ANYTHING grass.

Husqvarna is my go to. Can't beat em. Never had a problem with the 5 husqvarna weed eaters and 2 chainsaws I have. They start every time. They never let u down. But since all these manufacturing companies are going green. They will no longer be making gas powered equipment. So my advice is keep what u have take care it and make it last as long as u can.
