3 PRO SAWS - STIHL vs. HUSQVARNA vs. ECHO

The 3 major chainsaw brands are ECHO, HUSQVARNA and STIHL. Today I run a tank through 3 of the best of each brand and talk about my likes dislikes what is unique about all 3. They all are great saws The Stihl MS 500i is an awesome chainsaw that was hard to get for a while and is still in high demand and has a high price! The Husqvarna 592xp is a powerful screamer that can cut any wood fast that you can find! The ECHO CS 7310P has a 5 year warranty and costs way less than the others! Let's get cutting!

Chris in his natural habitat, chainsaw’s wood chips flying, wood rounds everywhere. Great way to start my day, thanks and keep on cutting.

I love it when I get into a pile like that and get the cuts lined up so you can cut down through 4 logs without stopping. It makes wood cutting go so much faster. Those saws were eating up that little stuff. Makes wood cutting even more fun.

Thanks for the video, Chris. I am typically a Stihl guy, but just bought a new Husky 572XP with a 28" Light bar. I am in love with it!

It’s good to see you cutting in the piles again. That is my favorite way to cut.

All those logs looked like the perfect size for the 40c processor, almost all looked straight. Awesome video.

I own mostly Stihl, due to dealer support. Echo is now at one of the largest lawn dealers in my area. May have to try the 7310. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

To be fair, it sounds like the Echo needs a carb adjustment, running too rich. Three great saws!!!

Best saw i ever had is the one thats in my hands, running and cutting !! Have had blue ones, yellow ones, red ones orange ones... you take care of them, they usually do what they're supposed to do... Husky is a little smoother on the vibration... My opinion only after 55 years of cuttin and foolin around with wood

My paw-in-law runs all Echoes and knows no other brands even though myself and all his tree service sons use Stihl. He’s 82 years old and still making stumps💪. Fun show, Chris, thanks.

You just found the best way to deal with woodyard weeds. That’s right. Saw chips and more saw chips. Well done.

For that size wood the 500 really cut good. And it looked easier to handle. That 592 with big pieces really cuts good. Like you said all 3 saw are awesome. Very nice video.

You cut alot of wood with these 3 different saws. Each one are good for sure. You put them to the test. You have plenty of energy I got to say. Great video as always. Take care.

Thanks for the tip on the Echo pull rope handle - didn't know that. I've had all three brands too, but I've been truly satisfied with my Echo 590, as well as the identical one I found on the side of the road. I never have found the owner yet, so I have been putting it to use. It has the 24 inch bar compared to my 20" bar and I find I don't have to bend over as much.

I've owned mostly Stihl saws but took a chance on an Echo 7310 and I love it! It's a great saw! - Tim

All run great. Stihl has a good strong hold here in the Pacific NW so that's why i run them and the dealer system is awesome too😉👍

The Echo 7310 sounds like it's running super rich in the cut. It has a lot more in it if dialed in right. The other two saw's electronic carbs never seemed to settle in for light load in small wood.

Great video. I am a mostly Stihl man. Until it comes to their chains. Until you wear one about half out they stretch. The only thing I have found to combat this problem is running a new Stihl chain dull and tight once they get hot they are done stretching. But that is not good for the bar and sprockets. Personally I just use Oregon chains instead. Excellent side by side comparison. Have a great day

Great video! Listening to the different saws running, you can tell which one is which manufacture's saw, I've said for a long time now, if it's got orange and a pro saw it's a good saw. I own mostly Stihl, but have purchased both Husqvarna and Echo in the pro series and can't compline about any of them . I do find myself leaning towards my Stihls, but as always, the right tool for the job is where I go as well. My 572XP with a 28" bar is really calling me for bucking in a log pile. The power to weight plus cut speed is almost unmatched in my arsenal of saws.
