This is the best Habit for Beginners on the Meris LVX. The Meris LVX is far from a simple pedal to use but thanks to its user interface there are some simple hacks to accelerate the speed that you can master this beast.

Hey- thanks for making this video. I’ve had the LVX for awhile, but I really haven’t fallen in love with it. I sat down with the LVX yesterday- after stumbling into your video, and made a rad preset, gained better understand of how to operate it, AND wrote a rad song around the patch I built (my band confirmed they dig the song ideas so far). So yeah- thanks man! Appreciate this video a lot.

Just rewatching some of your videos in anticipation of the Mercury X and I stumbled onto this gem.

Thank you for such high quality content, Nick! The algorithmic gods need to push this content to the top when people are looking for LVX tutorials!

Hey Nick, this is really (one of) the best demo(s) of the LVX. I learned a lot about the LVX. When it was over, I thought: what, it's already over. I would have listend to you for a whole hour.
This was really an eye-opener. And your video quality with the different angles and views and the lighting is absolutely professional. Great job, thank you very much! 🙌👍👍👏👏

The LVX is a magic machine. I’m running two analog synths through it and it sounds absolutely wonderful. It can do even more with the latest update. I suggest any new LVX owner do a deep dive into it’s massive multi-fx capability by starting with a blank preset.

Thank you so much for making a mono video of this pedal. No one else has one that I"ve seen.

I was a little frustrated with the UI when I got the first pedal. Within a few days I was comfortable using it and now cannot imagine not having it. FWIW I saved and removed all stock presets and built my own from scratch...this was a great way to learn for me. I do use the graphic view, which surprised me, as I thought I would end up using the text view. (Honestly I should try it especially for multi as that structure can be tedious to set up.)

So much to tweak and sculpt, and the results audible and LUSH. Although the Boss DD-500 is very tweakable with assigns, the LVX is easier to get wide stereo spread from...and it has more multi-tap variety.

Having completely ignored the volume pedal preamp, I had no idea you could use it to do tremolo, but that makes perfect sense. Of course the Ring Mod in the modulation section also does tremolo, but it's nice to have that block free for other things.

Awesome demo, really appreciate the effort you've put in to showing how to dissect these tones

Nick, this was a hugely helpful video. Aside from the fact that it provides a really intentional approach to working with the LVX, it also helped me quickly build delays--some recreations of things I used on my Eventide Time Factor, others totally new--for a group of songs I'm playing this weekend. You helped me knock out in a couple of hours a group of presets I thought would take me much more time over a longer period to create. Thank you!

This pedal is a beast there is so much you can do with it its intimidating to a lot of people nowhere near as hard as zoia but i still have a ton to discover with it. Love it my favorite digi delay

You need to become the Jon Cordy of the LVX. He did tons of amazing Stomp videos and built a killer channel. And I could really use recurring help with this pedal. It’s amazing, but it’s absolutely one of those pedals that you stumble into cool stuff on accident, not necessarily on purpose.

Really great explanation breaking down the presets. Very good idea to highlight how routing the effects through the dry or wet signal affects the overall sound. Great work! I'm glad I'm skint and not able to buy one.... The kids wouldn't see me for days.

I keep going back to my GFI orca delay because it just sounds so beautiful and it’s very easy to use. With that being said, I think I’m just going to delete all of the presets and start from scratch. This is definitely something you need to spend time with. I know a lot of people were impatient and got frustrated and sold it prematurely in my opinion.

Awesome video! I love the lvx but I definitely don't use it nearly to it's full capacity... I have tons of sounds in my head that I can't quite get into the pedal... cool video

For keyboard players we completely understand this workflow because synths can get deep and complicated. It's second nature. What I need it for is the CS80 clone and the ring modulator so I'm wondering can I control with MIDI using a CC setting to interact with the ring modulation? I didn't see a CC channel directly for ring mod but can it be assigned to a CC channel. I see several options for Mods in general. Thus I'm thinking whatever Mod you have set that CC channel will control it. So if I assign my aftertouch to that CC channel it should kick in that effect.

Since it has midi in/out, it would be so cool if it had a software interface like some pedals do.

Well, another name for this pedal is "Light" and I think is the most correct and intended by the company. It is pronounced "LOOKS". The "V" in Latin is "U" and it is pronounced in English like the double "O". It means "Light". The letters can be numbers too, which would be "55".
