Being a Rotten Roommate

The plaintiff says she’s a traveling physical therapist and model, and she rented a furnished room from the defendant. She says he freaked out when she used the fridge, and she moved out right away. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says the plaintiff cooked with heavy oils and cranked up the heat, plus she broke the lease. He’s countersuing for unpaid rent, cleaning costs, ruined kitchenware, and lost wages.

I wouldn't be surprised if he runs this regularly like a scam..makes up petty, pointless fights, makes them feel like the problem like they're doing something wrong, gets them to leave, makes a quick couple thousand bucks and doesn't have to live with them. Except he wasn't banking on this girl being smart, keeping all her receipts, and bringing him to court

This dude is nuts. She works at night and ppl leave their porch light all the time. And then he gonna be mad over her using the appliances a landlord is supposed to provide. I wish the judge could have told him he's not allowed to rent to anyone else. I'm glad he dug his own hole and she won her case. She seems like a nice lady

I feel her pain. I’m a travel registered nurse and I have to find housing when I go on new assignments. Thank God I’ve never had a landlord/roommate like him. He’s the very reason why I never rent a room in someone’s home.
