The plaintiff rented an apartment from the defendant. She had surgery the day she was supposed to move in, and she claims the defendant changed the rent terms behind her back. She’s suing for a rent refund. The defendant argues he was in the middle of renovations when the plaintiff was supposed to move in. He says he won’t give her money back because he offered her a different apartment.

The defendant simply is a thief. He stole her $850.
And amongst all the insane arguments he made, he has the nerve at (10:56) to look down on her work as a TEACHER (!) when JM says he took it from her hard earned work, by repeating the words ‘hard earned’ with an undeniable disdain in his tone.
