There's something about Alan's stiff speech becoming more normal when arguing with Wall Guy, like he was so thrown off by the whole situation.

i love that he desperately tried to minimize his window quickly. missed the button, and resorted to covering the screen with his hands

_"yeah. yeahyeahyeah."_

*The way he says it like he thinks he's winning the argument* 😂😂😂😂

Im with Gleb on this. Imagine working a profession as chaotic and unrewarding as being a Smiling Friend and just when its time for your break and ready to relax your neurotic co-worker is busting your ass over 1 missing paper clip.

The unreasonableness of the wall guy makes me laugh every time

I swear I love how Alan starts off as this weirdo guy, but once he's confronted with a situation even weirder than him, he just completely becomes a normal, sane person. I hope this becomes a thing where Alan keeps having to be the "normal" one in the weird situations he finds himself in

I like how they get known actors in small cameos like Finn Wolfhardd as the computer guy or Gilbert Gottfried as God in this show. I hope they keep going with this gag throughout the future seasons

the wall guy is one of the best joke twists besides every other amazing joke twist

I like how characters in this show aren't bound by their archetype. Like Alan is weird but he gets into a situation that even he finds weird, and his tone and cadence becomes completely normal because of how flabbergasted he is.

I like how Alan is such a neurotic freak for the first half of the episode, but he gets so genuine when he encounters Wall Guy.

After all this time I still can't believe how interesting this scene is. A scene that instantly makes a character dynamic, seamlessly turns the weird character into the straight man, involves a celebrity cameo, and showcases a very realistic sounding conversation in a crazy situation, all at the same time, is mesmerizing.

"Chris what would you do if you were chasing a mouse through a wall and inside there was a dude on his computer"

the way he like frantically moves his cursor for a second and then gives up and covers the whole screen is totally genius

“Yeah not really your business though is it?” Gets me every time.

The Wall Guy’s attitude is more prevalent in the real world than one would originally expect. I think that’s what makes this scene all the better.

"Chris. What would you do if you were uhh..."
"I'm counting paperclips."
"Okay you're counting paperclips and you hear a shriek and see your mousetrap that has blood on it. So you go behind your fridge and see a guy on his computer inside your wall."

"Uhhh. I'd probably confront him about it."

Wall guy is the type of character who only appears once until everyone has written him off as a one-off joke character and forgotten about, but then he randomly gets his own episode way later.

I just need more Gleb. Zach’s gibberish is a joy to hear every time.

It kills me how wall guy panics when he sees Alan and covers the screen. I love how he even glances back at the screen to make sure it's covered adequately. It's funny every time I watch it.

It’s INSANE that the man in the walls is voiced by Finn Wolfhard. I struggle to even picture him delivering these lines😭
