Re-feeding syndrome usually occurs in those who are malnourished and is extremely rare. I am a retired Dr and have undertaken several multi day water fasts. You could learn something about fasting from Dr Jason Fung.

On intermitted fasting
I use to take amlprdipine and coversile extra 5.25. i have eliminated amlordipine and left with coversile 5.25 which i take eevryday before bed. Fezl great

Good information up until the "plant based" refeeds and dietary changes. Thats about the worst thing you can do, especially for men or anyone not looking to waste away or end up with hypertension again.

There are zero negative effects in resuming a high fat low carbohydrate diet in terms of effect on blood pressure, as most hypertensive situation are a result of insulin. The absolute last thing you should be doing is jumping off a fast with a bunch of fructose.

The anti-meat thing is old, bad science. I advise everyone looking to fast, or come out of a fast, to research PSMF and Carnivore diet, ESPECIALLY if you have other health issues
