"It's okay" Why does that one little phrase make me feel so much better?

You just saved me from a massive anxiety attack. Still feeling a bit dissociative but I'm calm now. Thank you.

Thank you! I have anxiety but it is fairly well-controlled thanks to guided meditations, mindful breathing, and yoga. I was diagnosed with a panic disorder 2 years ago that was out of control. If anyone is ever wondering why something like this isn't working for them just remember, the first push-up is really hard when starting to work out, but once you do it several times it becomes easier. The same goes for meditating. When I first started I thought the anxiety that I struggled with was somehow different than everyone else's, that mine couldn't be helped by meditating. It's only because I wasn't sticking with it, stick with it! You will leap over that mountain someday, I promise! Love and light.

Had a panic attack and cried in front of my entire class yesterday. I'm dreading going back because it's embarrassing, but this helped me, this morning, to calm down.

Thank you.

To everyone reading this - this too shall pass. Sending you all the healing love i can muster. 💕🙏

So grateful for this meditation - I’ve been using it for over 5 years. I used to do it daily a few times a day when my panic disorder was flared up but thankfully day to day living has significantly improved and I’m no longer getting daily attacks. Right now I’m traveling and experiencing major anxiety and panic attack and remembered to go back to this. Thank you, thank you 🙏

I cannot stop thinking about the things that are hurting me like feeling lonely among friends, getting hurt even in their silliest jokes, feeling pathetic about how my past relationships ruined my peace of mind, feeling ugly all the time, enchanting self love but unable to practice it because of my insecurities, not trusting anybody's compliments, not trusting anybody in general, having trust issues all because of my past experiences, and so on. These all feelings have created a fear inside me like the fear we get before our exam results are published, there's a feeling inside me where my heart always, always feels so heavy yet I feel empty! During these 5 minutes 29 seconds, I cried because I couldn't stop thinking of all these things.
I still don't feel at ease that is why I quit social media and I'm determined to make my inner self happy and peaceful. I'm ready to do anything that will help me overcome this feeling of fear. And I'm sure medidation is going to help me to some extent that is why I am here.
And to people who kind of feel the same, you're not alone and I also know that I am not alone in this. Much power and love to you all💕

thank you for this... i keep having panic attacks and i get the whole “ i can’t breathe thing” knowing full well that i can and am breathing but for what ever reason... my mind says i can’t and that i need to sit up and gasp for air and it makes me hyperventilate and things get so much worse that i get the whole i’m going g to pass out so i can’t drive to the er so then i start freaking out thinking i’m dying and i get super emotional... it’s such a huge burden and i hope to god none of you feel like i feel.. if you do just know that i am fine and made it through the night even though the past 30 minutes have been pure torture.

if you’re struggling right now too just know you’re not alone. i struggle with ptsd and gad so if i can make it through this ... i’m sure you can too.. just try not to fight it and just let it happen.. we know what it is and that it’s going to pass in time all the same as anything else.

stay strong
