I reversed my pre-diabetes diagnosis is just three months, I went from 6.0 to 5.5. I just had to change my diet - I ate lots of whole grain rice, whole grain bread, eggs, fish and for a snack (peanuts) I cut out all the take-out food, cookies, coffee, juice and drank lots of water. And don't forget to exercise

I recently had a blood test in India for employment in the gulf. The results showed the issue of liver. Some enzyme problem (SGPT 131 U/L) so I went to my doctor. He prescribed me medicines for the liver which will get normal in a week but he just spoke to me on that sugar level which was showing in the report so he said this is like a pre-diabetic, but take care about it, so as he mentioned that they didn’t highlight anything about my sugar level, but he suggested that just take care about it.

I had gone for the blood test empty stomach in the morning so the result was 108 where it shows the normal range should be 60-100mg/dl

I’m always exercising, no alcohol, but I guess these few days I’ve been having a lot of sweets, icecreams and all and never imagined I’ll have this problem. I’m very conscious about my health and I just want to reverse it and get normal. The sugar level and also my liver treatment which is in process.

I had pancreatitis, liver hepatitis, and kidney failure back in February due to alcohol consumption. I got labs done in May and was told that I’m pre diabetic with a 5.8. I know that all the trauma I put my body through can cause my labs to be so out of range but I’m still working hard to get my body back to good health. I’m 6 months sober. I work out daily and eat great for the most part, my thing is, it’s so hard to cut out starchy foods. I have repeat labs at the end of this month, praying everything is going back to normal.

My father is an active and fit person but has diabetes. Turns out, one’s ability to put on fat actually protects you from diabetes which explains why my naturally lean athletic father has it vs my morbidly obese mother who eats unhealthy. I had my A1C checked recently, I’ve always been an athletic person. Turns out my A1C is 5.4…..just 0.3 shy of prediabetes. My sisters couldn’t believe it because I eat healthy, majority of the time. However I had a hobby of making baked goods and cakes for friends and family. I figured since I was in shape, I was fine. Couldn’t be more wrong 😅 Anyways, here I am trying to learn more about lowering A1C. Thanks for sharing this information and good luck everyone.
