Is anyone surprised by this? It's a good game, one that refused to "westernize" itself and isn"t worshipping their "virtuous" world views.

Now some "inclusive" people are even trying to downplay this game's sucess by using the argument that most of the sales are from china therefore it shouldn't count. Isn't it interesting that where the sales are from SUDDENLY matters here even though, unless i'm wrong, it NEVER did before?

Black Myth Wukong was the first game I've bought in a long time. Which is saying a lot because I have digital library of over 150 games.

I used to work for a pretty large PR firm. One of the services we would sell to our clients were these awards at different events and conferences. If you pay enough money, they will even create a new category to make sure you get that award you paid for. It's really crazy, I no longer trust any sort of awards, unless they make public who the judge desk was and what each individual judge voted for. They obviously won't do that because it means less money for the event/conference.

These people are insane. Black myth Wukong is a masterpiece. I haven’t had this much enjoyment from a game since GOW Ragnarok. Wukong is the game that the masses have been waiting for. I’m on my second playthrough with 86 hours total and the only thing I wish it had is a DLC just as big as the base game. I can’t get enough of it. This insane agenda to keep it out of the running is pure nonsense and it’s infuriating.
