Black Myth: Wukong PS5 Review - Your Biggest Questions Answered

Black Myth: Wukong on the PS5, just like its PC counterpart, is a fantastic experience. But what about performance? Are there any graphical modes? How is the image quality? How stable is the game?

The PS5 version comes packed with three different graphical settings: Quality, Balance and Performance. Each of those modes perform well and although there is scope for improvement and further optimization, the minor issues aren't a deal breaker by any means.

Black Myth: Wukong excels in engaging combat, intriguing boss fights, exploration and solid progression system. Although the lack of an in-game map hurts the experience, its negatives don't ever eclipse the many positives the game has.

Black Myth: Wukong is a must play for fans of the action role playing genre, and is one of the best games available on the PS5.

It's crazy how a small studio like Game Science achieved such level of excellency even on a console. Puts some of those big/famous studios to shame.

This game has been running quite well for me on the PS5 & ive been loving the experience so far. Runs smoothly and the Bosses are frankly ..insane in the membrane lol..
Edit: For the ones accusing me of bullshit..the game runs fine for ME, don't get so riled up about others experience with the game

Considering bmw has no review codes for ps5 and no gameplay before launch, I was expecting far more egregious issues

i put it on performance mode its smoother and still looks the same to my eyes i do sit back a bit but still its awesome. I bought it on steam also to support developers.

It looks great on my PS5, I’m only about 4-5 hours in though. It’s way better than I thought it would be. My only frustration so far is some of the hit boxes but there’s no punishment I can see from dying so it’s not that big of a deal.

Output resolution. The interesting part is the internal resolution and how it's upscaled.
It looks blurry to me.
