'Osteoblast' is one heckuva great name for a flavored calcium/Vit D supplement drink.

Be careful not to overexercise yourself, because I found out first hand that it can happen. I joined the military with literally no prior training whatsoever, and I immediately transitioned from a couch potato life to running literal mini marathons everyday. As to how I managed to graduate basic training on time with hardly any problems aside from blisters remains a mystery, but when I got to tech school that's when it all went downhill. I had one of the longest tech schools so this was over a period of a few months, but I noticed it was getting harder and progressively more painful to walk, and especially run on my left leg, particularly on the lower half of the front of my leg. It got to the point where it was almost unbearable to march so I went to the doctor to get it checked out. Took some X-rays and was told that I was developing a stress fracture. It wasn't technically a full on fracture yet, but it was going to break if I kept putting constant strain on it, so I had to rest it for a few weeks. Thankfully it healed and I never had a problem with it again, but the most important part about exercising that a lot of people seem to overlook is don't overdo it and if youre suddenly going from a lazy life to the work out life, try to gradually ease yourself into it.

I like this channel. Working out to impress others isn’t great motivation, but I do want more mitochondria

I just love his videos. I preach to my clients about how everything you do and eat feeds all your body to the last cell including bones.

What I admire about you sir, is that you (love) what you do; “teaching.” Please don’t ever lose that desire, because you are a blessing to those who are interested in medical school, and those who are interested in learning about their bodies. And, you are easy on the eyes.👀 lol!

If you are handicapped or unable to exercise to help with your bone density get yourself one of those vibration plates called life pro and sit on the that or exercise on that or just put your feet on that and stand up the vibration there will stimulate bone growth... It has helped me with my neuropathy in my feet

There are two factors that play in bone density. One diminishes bone, and one builds bone. When your bones are (literally) stimulated via electrical signals and physical resistance, they begin to thicken. This is why the power-arm of many tennis players is much thicker than their other arm, due to constant stimulus

Osteoblast sounds like a threatening transitive verb as in “I’m going to freaking osteoblast your face”. Or in intransitive usage like “He got totally osteoblasted in the accident”.
