Defeating Adventism #101 – Seventh-Day Adventist Chronology (Who Changed the Sabbath) Proved False

Seventh-day Adventists have a variety of inaccurate teachings. One of those teachings is the Papal System changed the Sabbath and this having supposing occurred based on the power given to them from Daniel 7:25.

This video will show the Seventh-day Adventist teachings are confused and they do not know when the Sabbath was supposedly changed. Was it 321 A.D. or did this monumental change occur in 538 A.D. The Seventh-day Adventist bible chronology chart is riddled with false teachings and inaccuracies. This video will show that even they are confused internally and cannot keep their own (inaccurate) teachings straight and in order. Their own supposed “God” given chart is confused and internally contradictory.

Question for SDAs: Do you believe that everyone who refrains from working between sundown every Friday and sundown every Saturday, and makes sure that no one in the household, including visitors and animals, works during those time periods, is in full compliance Sabbath commandment as given to Moses at Sinai?

I’m a former 4th generation SDA that is now a Christian. I don’t know why they still argue about the Sabbath being changed. The Sabbath hasn’t been changed. Sabbath is a sign between the Israelites and God, Sunday is the Lord’s Day and the day Christians celebrate and observe because the Lord Jesus Christ rose on Sunday.
SDA’s don’t even ‘keep’ the real Sabbath as the Israelites had a lunar calendar and the calendar that we know is based on a solar calendar. We have named days of the week, the Israelites used numbers.

Adventists make such a fuss over Sabbath keeping. But the Sabbath was never given to gentiles and was part of God's covenant with His people, Israel. Adventists, you are not Israel. They also claim that they keep the whole law, but the Scriptures tell us that to place yourself under the law is to be under a curse. The law was never able to make a man righteous before God, for if the law could make you right with God then righteousness would have come by the law. However, the law is a tutor designed to expose how far we are from righteousness and to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. And faith alone. Once faith has come, we are no longer under that tutor. Adventists, the whole "Sabbath" argument is null and void because you are not keeping the law and you are under a curse. Read your Bibles. The Apostle Paul dealt with this in detail. And unlike your evil "prophetess", Paul was actually inspired by God as he wrote.

First 7:25 says they think they will this means that he will observe different times and laws but God's will remain in force. It also says he will have the blood of the saints on their hands. History shows us both to be true Pope Gregory set up the current calendar and starting the day at midnight instead of sunset And they killed and tortured Sabbath keepers for 1260 years as prophecied. How can you reject these facts? The Catholic church calls herself mother and the protestant churches her daughters . That's the thing She knows shes Mommy but doesn't admit to being the false church. But the protestants don't know they are her daughters. Be warned about this guy. He may we'll be right about the adventists being deceived but they do worship on the correct day of the week . They take you verse by verse through the scriptures that protestants use to justify Sunday keeping. And none of them say anything about keeping Sunday holy resting on it and preventing your animals employees and family from working on it either.

you're basically telling people to forget the only commandment that begins with remember. the Sabbath the was established for mankind in Genesis where Israel doesn't exist yet and it says the Sabbath is the seventh day of the week. it's easy to understand. the Catholic church changed the sabbath day from seventh day to first day of the week and we can read it in the Catechism of Catholic doctrine. it's not that complicated to understand.

Funny SDA hates Catholic Church, but as both a former Catholic and SDA member, I can say they are almost equally in error. They both use books other then The Bible, Catholic Church uses the Catichism, they use Ellen White writings. I think people should worship every day, and have one day of rest . I believe it says somewhere in the book of Romans how we should not let people decieve us on Sabbath or Feast days. Glad I am not in either of these religions anymore.

As a Traditional Catholic, the SDA doesn't even have a Clue about anything. They have no Clue of the Foundation and Building Blocks of Christianity. It is also true concerning All Protestants Generally Speaking.
It just cracks me up. Just Study the Apostolic Fathers who were Ordained by the Apostles and you will learn about coming together on Sunday the Eighth Day. And you will also learn about the Church being called Catholic from the beginning.

During the video I kept wondering how the Adventists can say the papacy ended after 1260 years from whatever date since the papacy is still around. Adding 1260 to any of the dates used results in a date at least a couple of hundred years ago!

It's really a moot point. Because first century church worship on Sunday as the Lord's day. This is historical. And very stupid to for the SDA church to argue and continue to push Ellen White's ignorance 🙄 when they refuse to deal with scripture in the new testament that tells not to judge anyone by foods or holy days and Sabbath. Them three words,
Religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
These are all 3 types of Sabbaths. And if you are someone who studies you know that the Sabbath was never something that was for the gentles. It was a sign of the old covenant between Israel and God. And lastly you can not have Sabbath without circumcision. As Jesus said if the priest circumcise a man on the Sabbath and are blameless. How do am I wrong for healing on the Sabbath. And Paul said don't get circumcised or Christ will profit you nothing. Why did he say that? Because you have rejected His rest for a day and a dead covenant that is only a shadow of better covenant with Jesus our Lord. Circumcision is how proselyte are made aka you are entering the Covenant to become a Jew. And three of the Decibels of Christ said the Holy Spirit seems good that we lay no farther burden on the gentles than the three things. That you don't eat things sacrificed to idols. 2 don't eat the blood. And keep from fornication. If you do these 3 things you do well. So scripture tells us Don't judge others by what days you worship. I like something that an early church writer says. It was first our Lord that said that we should Sabbatzie every day. And this lines up with the first commandment. Love your God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength.

They tried teaching me this when I was in 11th grade at Monterey Bay Academy. So, each month we got a town trip to Watsonville. While the other kids were getting burgers and frys and porn magazines I went to the Catholic church in town, found the priest and told him what I was learning and told him I didn't believe the religion teacher and the priest told me I was a good kid and he wrote the names of some history books for me to read. But I never read any of the books he recommended because they weren't sold at the SDA store at the school and I was a kid and couldn't get them. He was a nice priest and told me to keep studying and God would lead me to know the truth.

If you want to know why the Sabbath keepers are the most angry and frustrated people on earth? There's your answer. *God has provoked them to anger!* He as made them insane with anger and jealousy. This day, Rom. 10:19 is fulfilled in them, the Sabbath keepers!
Rom. 10: *NONETHELESS ISAIAH IS VERY BOLD:* 20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them *that asked not after me.*
21 *But to Israel* (the Jewish Sabbath keepers) *he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people* .
Verse 21 Describes the Sabbath keepers hearts! They are "Gainsayers and disobedient" preferring the law of Moses over the faith and Grace in Christ.
*MOSES promised God would make the Sabbath keepers ANGRY over his grace to the Gentiles and WOW* ! Look at the Sabbath keepers spew out the hate towards Christians with every evil imagination they can possibly DREAM UP!!

20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, *I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me*
If you want to know why the Sabbath keepers spend their life persecuting, mocking and testifying falsely against Christianity, the precise reason is shown above. It was predicted from Moses to Hosea. And, today, they declare themselves the "Remnants" of those who persecuted Christ and the Apostles.
