Outnumbered is not a term for us. We prefer to say that "every last enemy just exposed their position to our close air support."

Just remember, it was Americans that changed the term "outnumbered" to "target rich environment"

Watched the reel and ran over for the comments and no one disappointed. Thank you all for your service, may your families be blessed by supporting you while you defend not only our freedoms but the liberty of other nations. Thank you for never leaving and soldier behind and thank you to all the service people who understand you helped make America great. We need to see more of your behaviors in society and not the stuff we see now.

American Military has a "thing" about leaving anyone behind. It is the worst form of failure. Dead or alive, you are coming home. And I am proud of that.

As an American fighting in Iraq in 2007-2008, I just wanna put out there that our European & Australian counterparts were awesome! British SAS helos flew through a sandstorm that kept us locked down on what was supposed to be a 2-day air-assault mission without resupply for 5 additional days. We ran out of food and water. The British SAS pilots came in through what our own helos could not. So, it goes both ways.

"Ha! We took out your officer!"

"Yes you did... and now there's no one to hold us back."

That's 100% true, I'm a German soldier and my instructor at the time told me about his experiences with the Americans, he said they were incomparable to any other unit when it came to rescue operations. They would fly through a sandstorm in a helicopter without thinking twice to save our asses.

In the dutch army leaving a man behind is also something they will never do, for example(also heavily out numbered): During a mission in Afghanistan in 2006, Dutch soldier Marco Kroon demonstrated remarkable courage and loyalty. His unit was ambushed by Taliban fighters, and amidst the chaos, one of his comrades was seriously wounded. Despite the intense gunfire, Kroon disregarded his own safety and rushed to aid his injured colleague. He shielded the wounded soldier and helped evacuate him to safety, ensuring that no one was left behind.
Kroon’s selflessness and commitment to his fellow soldiers exemplify the bond and honor shared among military personnel. Even in the face of danger, he prioritized the well-being of his comrade, embodying the spirit of “leave no one behind.” His actions remain an inspiring testament to the camaraderie forged in the crucible of combat.

A A10 Warthog was told to abandon soldiers in Syria when the enemy threat was larger than expected in case the aircraft could be taken down. Pretty much said "fire me" and used EVERYTHING HE HAD, including the flares.

“Leave no brother behind” is a powerful sentiment to have, and I’m glad we have that mentality. It give some level of comfort knowing that if a mission gets fubar someone is trying to come get you. I’ve done missions with or train with soldiers from many different countries and though all were brave I have seem some run and not look back leaving some of their fellow soldiers behind during their retreat. That never turns out well either.
