Army -> Soldiers
Marine Corps -> Marines
Navy -> Sailors
Air Force -> Airmen
Coast Guard -> Coast Guardsmen
Space Force -> Guardians

Also, only Army and Air Force have all three; Active, National Guard, and Reserve Components. Whereas, the other branches only have 2 (Active and Reserve).

Otherwise, this was a good video.

Just wanted to add a note, like how the Air Force sees pilots as the main component, the Marine Corps is similar but focused on Infantry, for the Marines, everything supports the infantry

The space force may end up becoming far more important over the course of time the next decade if not in the couple of years.

The space force got their first ranger on February 29th of 2024. He is literally the first power ranger 😂

The Air Force and Space Force Basic Trainings are the same length, at 7 1/2 weeks. The primary difference between the two is that Space Force recruits are referred to as "Guardians" from the start (in difference to Air Force recruits being Trainees until earning the title of Airman upon graduation) and they take extra classes regarding Space Warfare.

The coast guard is the most underrated and under-appreciated of all of the branches.

The Navy gives us a ride to the war, the Air Force lets the enemy know we are coming and the Army cleans up after we leave. Semper FI!!

“The US Air-force is the worlds largest air-force. The US Navy is the worlds 2nd largest air-force. The US Marine Corps, a branch of the US Navy, is the worlds 5th largest airforce.”

Somebody give this man a raise, the best educational channel ever

I've always looked at each branch as such:
Army=defense
Marines=offense
Navy=covert ops and intimidation
Air Force=support, both technical and strategic

The Coast Guard also does combat support. In every war from WW1 to Iraq, the CG escorted vessels through combat zones, provided medevac, and landed troops on beaches

My dad was in the army, navy, and marine corps and was a Seabee machine gunner in Iraq (or Iran, I don't remember which) and Kuwait

I'm thankful for his service, and glad he survived through all of it. Though unfortunately he passed from cancer in October 2021, but I'll always love, miss, and be proud of my old man.

"Chair Force" my foot! I served 5½ years in the US Air Force as an NCO and another 3 in the Air National Guard and military service was by far the single most difficult thing I've ever done in my life!
