I’m 270lbs with bad knees and I’ve been doing sprints for a few months know. The look on my Dr’s face when he asked if I worked out and I said I do sprints. I visualize being chased by a wild animal or something. If I can sprint anybody can.

Mike great video. I have started using HIIT (speed work) with my training. I am 57 and diagnosed with pre-Parkinson’s. Sprinting, endurance, resistant and plyometrics are all becoming part of my strategy. In addition to pre and probiotic therapies to drive the condition into remission. Currently I have put iRBD in to remission using natural therapies. Keep the videos coming as you always provide me with great information I use in my research and therapies. Currently I am competitive in trail racing and ultra distance. Looking to drop to marathon and set a PB. MY goal is to race competitively from the 100 meter to ultra distance. We were designed to 🏃. Can not wait for the full video. Great tips I look to implement today in my work out.

Shocking for me, I can sprint just fine but jogging gives me knee pain. Sprinting kicks me into ketosis . Yes gals this is great for eating up fat! Another great video with two beautifully healthy looking people - enjoy Maui!

Having buddies to run with is awesome too, when you’re racing someone you really give it your 120% effort.

I just recently started doing sprinting intervals recently. I watched this video yesterday and implemented Cynthia’s suggestions this morning. Was very helpful! I was much more aware of my breathing and body posture and was able to sprint in a more relaxed position. Thank you Cynthia and thanks Mike for all your wonderful content. I appreciate you!

What's amazing is the double inhale method is actually scientific and preached by many neurologist nowadays

Omg! those two short inhales! I started doing that for what ever reason when I was about 12 and spent over 15 years in fitness, doing that technique for all my running activities. I wonder where it originates from??? I ran 2.4kms in 8mins for the Army RFL using that technique and was the fastest in my unit, it really works

Hill sprints are incredible. Cant recall the guy on YouTube who talks about it but I did it few times and felt great. Ease into it. It’s so quick but high risk of injury if you don’t warm up. Hills lessen risk a little whilst upping intensity.

I have dropped my running mileage from 40-50 miles/week to 10-15 (plus some additional hiking), with one sprint workout and one fartlek (free interval) workouts and my timed results have been amazing, and I am never super tired like I used to get. 100%carnivore helps too.
