Standing Yoga for Seniors - Yoga for Seniors - Standing Yoga - Senior Yoga. This yoga for seniors standing yoga class is especially designed for adults ages 50-75+. This slow flow standing yoga practice focuses on stretching, strength, and balance. Many modifications are shown throughout the yoga practice that make this class very accessible. The yoga practice starts with a standing warm-up that brings awareness to the breath. Then the class progresses into some deeper standing stretching and balance. The yoga practice ends in standing breath work that brings awareness to the breath to increase relaxation in the body.

The figure 8 is great for increasing the stretch, I managed to touch the floor with my fingertips after doing it! I sometimes find the warrior pose challenging in the shoulder area when keeping my arms elevated for long periods of time but I'm hoping it will help to improve my strength in the upper body so that I can manage the floor poses on all fours, as at the moment there's just no strength in my upper body and arms to support myself for longer than a few seconds. Thank you for the work out again. One small problem I get is when I Do rag doll I get really dizzy .
