The truth about dairy - Is dairy good for you?

In this video, Dr. Justin Marchegiani shares some valuable information about dairy and its effects on the body. A lot of his patients come in with autoimmune conditions and they seem to have a sensitivity towards dairy. For some people, dairy is actually good. However, for those who are suffering from inflammation and autoimmune diseases, it may be a good idea to test for dairy sensitivity. Learn about the different kinds of dairy found in the market today as well as the common dairy by-products.

Pasture fed dairy can contain many fat soluble nutrients that are important to health. Dairy also contains an inflammatory protein called casein that can look very similar to gluten to the immune system. There are many different bi-products of dairy including butter, milk, cheese, yogurt and ghee. These bi-products aren't all created equal and some of these dairy foods can be better tolerated than others. Watch this video to learn more about dairy.

Hi Justin, i just purchased some Colostrum (although i am allergic to casein) and was curious what your take on Colostrum was. I heard it was great for leaky gut, and that the "immunoglobulin g" in it would take care of any allergic react to the casein. Do you think the colostrum be bad for someone with an allergy to casein?

Great video, but I think Cheese and different milk sources (Goat/Sheep/Buffalo/etc.) also have their place here :)
