I was born in Vietnam. When we finished breastfeeding, we ate food; we didn't drink anyone else's milk. When we moved to Canada, milk was literally pushed upon us as a health food. I could never tolerate it. Knowing how horrible the dairy industry is, I will never consume milk or cheese again!

I no longer can even stomach the idea of cow's milk or cheese. I look forward to a world where their consumption is eliminated, probably not within my lifetime, but seeing a year-by-year reduction is encouraging.

I stopped drinking cows' milk in 1986, when I found out about the cruelty involved. I was told that my bones would crumble and my teeth would fall here I am 33 years on and incredibly healthy and still with a full set of teeth. My love and respect for animals did me a huge favour.

Quitting dairy cleared up all my digestive issues. I used to be bloated, constipated, and go days without a bowel movement followed by diarrhoea. I had awful stomach pains and gained weight even on calorie restriction, because I just couldn’t process food properly. Now everything is working perfectly, I’m losing weight without calorie rectriction, have no more stomach pain, no PMS, lighter periods, and don‘t bloat often. It’s wonderful. I quit for ethical reasons, but I feel like I’m being rewarded for showing compassion!

All my adult life I've had heavy periods. I quit eating all forms of meat and milk. My periods were back to where I was before I had kids. It's an answer to my prayers.

I have EDS. I have been vegetarian for most of my live...but continued to use dairy for various reasons, including medical recommendations. Once I made the decision to stop using dairy, I can honestly say I have never felt better - both physically (pain reduction) and and mentally - my conscience especially, as I no longer contributed to the treatment of the mothers and their babies: cow, goat, sheep... Plant-based products are the best for me.

Thanks for that video. It’s so messed up how our government basically pushed milk on everyone because of a surplus after a war and continues to fund this horrible industry. Thanks to videos like this, people are told the truth . Love your channel 💚

I had never read or heard about the addictive nature of casein in cheese, before. It explains why I've always had cravings for cheese.
I look forward to when non-dairy products become more common in smaller cities, such as the one in which I live.
I currently don't eat pork or beef and hope that I can go completely vegan, soon, not only for health reasons, but environmental ones as well.

My sister is a retired career dietician/nutritionist with the VA. She swears by milk. I suspect a lot of doctors think it is great. In the colder latitudes you can not grow vegetables in winter but you can out up hay to feed your dairy cows in winter. So the cow is a great way to convert hay into milk and cheese. Which are edible if not optimal for human consumption. These conditions do not apply in the modern First World but traditions die hard. I am gratified to see the decline below of dairy and the rise of plant milks.

I now prefer pizza without any type of cheese at all dairy or plant based, and I was a big cheese fan.

I turned 60 years old this past Thanksgiving an I could never drink milk without having to go to the bathroom. I love these plant based milk products. Never cared much for meat because of the smell when it was cooking.

India is the largest producer and consumer of milk(India is not first on your list because a significant portion of India's milk comes from buffaloes) why do we still have less risk of prostate cancer

Personally I prefer Oat Milk in my morning coffee or on oatmeal which makes perfect sense. The secret to any plant based milk in coffee is don't put any water in just the plant milk by itself...

I think some plant-based milks are fine on breakfast cereal and maybe once a week a small amount of vegan cheese on vegan tacos, but to make it taste like cheese, that means you are eating a lot of fat. Fat clogs arteries. We have to not just quit dairy, but we need to quit not thinking what we are doing too.

I used to love milk and cheese until coughing violently after consuming cheese. Seeing that calf thrown violently angers me. I now drink Almond/Silk/Oak milk and eat Vegan cheese.

Cows deserve better and once I finish up my whey protein I'll be buying Vegan/Hemp protein. Thank you for this conscious video!
